| Lamouchi on 22:45 - May 16 by ReslovenSwan1 | What do you find disgusting out of interest? Why should they not sue Nantes and their agents. Nantes and their agents have a lot to answer for in my opinion. |
I think the point the poster is making is quite clear ? I also heard Dalman's interview and he clearly said it was not about the money. He just stated that the last "court" to sit in judgement was found to have no jurisdiction over the matter. Fair enough ( maybe) If that was the case surely they would be suing for some or all of the money they lost in the transfer ( £20 million I believe) not an undisclosed figure dreamt up by their lawyers to compensate them for losing their place in the PL. As stated before by others, the benefit or otherwise of having Sala play for them is purely hypothetical and intangible. They exchanged contracts and Sala was their player. The tragedy that followed was beyond words, but doesn't change that fact. I noticed you have been using hypothetical situations recently. Imagine you buy a house on the coast (( let's say for arguments sake in Norfolk). All the papers and monies are exchanged and you pick up the keys from the estate agent. You have ( due to an oversight on your part ) forgotten to take out insurance. While you are driving from Resolven to your new home on the coast, the cliff collapses and your house with it, before you have had the chance to move in. Do you turn around and try to renege on ownership as you never actually got to live in the house ? Do you try to get retrospective insurance to cover your loss ? The above is no different to what Cardiff are doing. Tragic though it is, they ( like you in the hypothetical example above) have no right t claim off the other party. The fact that they are still arguing about it four years after two people died I too find disgusting Had the poor young man not died, there is no guarantee he would have made any difference to their survival. Maybe that is what

Football fans blow in the wind. Tan was great under the managerial leadership of Warnock and McKay went they spent two year in the Premier league. Without Tan there is no CCS no house of Sport, no future he has taken the losses on his own shoulders and will not ditch the club like happened at Bolton and Derby. Tan only need to pay for a category one academy £4-5m a season and get good long term managers. Cardiff have lost two top quality kids in Charlie Crew and Gabriel Bianchieri highlighted today on the Western Mail alongside to other great Cardiff prospects Perrett and Lawler. Nothing raises the moral of fans like up and coming prospects.

The issues of ownership is no longer up for debate. The insurance matter is a separate issue and case. Sheff Utd sued West Ham for loss of their Premier league status buy arguing West Ham would not have garnered the extra 3 points they got with Marlon Harwood and Dean Ashton. (without Carlos Tevez) . Cardiff are suing Nantes and agents for loss of their Premier leagues status by arguing Cardiff would have garnered the 3 extra points with Emilalmo Sala ( Not Robert Glatzel and Danny Ward). Both cases were intangible. No one could have been certain Harwood and Ashton could have replaced the goals of Tevez. No one can be certain Sala would have scored more goals than Glatzel and Ward. Slightly different but the same principle. West Ham paid Sheff utd £20m.

The Tevez case was completely different, West Ham were found guilty of breaking the Premier league third party ownership rules and fined. The Premier league had the option of terminating his registration with West Ham but allowed him to carry on playing. Tevez scored 7 goals including the winner on the final day to keep them up - that's not hypothetical. Comparing that to the Sala case is absolute nonsense.

Most certainly they will. Nantes have to answer a lot of questions and know they are on what Les Anglais would call a "sticky wicket". There was no point negotiation while CCFC went on a wild goose chase. Now the serious stuff starts. Dr P said it was all over. He was wrong for the first time this decade. It is a good question and i have checked. There are in fact multiple definitions on line as it is a relatively new word in the dictionary. For the record I do not consider myself a troll (out of interest ). I believe what I say. If i get something wrong I will apologise if appropriate and accept my error. I thought Jordan Garrick would develop into a star. He still might do who knows. Pace power ball control good dribbler and improving with heading. I call myself a contrarian. There are plenty of lazy narratives in football due to parochialism and local rivalries. I do not insult anyone but have on occasion called some fans "a bit dim". If this forum all thought the same it would be like another site i followed which is now as dull as dishwater. In South Wales there are certain political leanings that do not like alternative thoughts. On the NHS for example. The Trust legal case fiasco was hugely predictable and I predicted its failure and dodgy logic. No one else put their head above the parapet. You just get called all sorts.

He will go on a good run in the autumn and be given a contract extension. Then he will be sacked in the spring when normal form returns. It's what Cardiff do.

I do not accept your reasoning. West Ham's rule breaking got Sheff Utd unfairly relegated and they paid compensation. Cardiff argue that Nantes's rule breaking (via their agent) got them relegated both by 3 points, (obviously in much more tragic circumstances). People are arguing that you cannot predict what would have happened. You argue that with Tevez we know what happened so it is not the same. In fact you are looking at it the wrong way. The argument is that would West ham without Tevez would have secured more than 3 points less? (with either Ashton, Harewood or Carlton Cole). This is the hypothetical angle. Would Sala garnered 3 more points than Glatzel, Harris and Ward? Warnock thought so and he has more experience than just about anyone else. I call it precedence you call it nonsense. It is a forum.

This has been done on the appropriate thread and your point about the Blades and hammers was answered on there too. What is this now, you gave up on that hread but decided (yet again) to hijack other threads to continue your campaign in defence of CCFC. I have suggested before that you are either a troll or a WUM, now I think you are both. All your arguments have been trashed even with your irrelevant, heavily biased hypothetical assumptions. We know your opinions, maybe it's time to give it a rest and see how the court case turns out. If cardiff win you can come back and gloat.

The thread was hijacked by STID 2017 who called CCFC disgusting over the court case. I asked him why and he did not answer. Moderator D then answered his claim. Threads end up where they end up. I respond and do not lead unless I start my own thread. You under a previous name agreed when I was called whole lot worse by the long lost 'The Chief'. I gloat on the demise of the useless Trust, I will not gloat on a case as tragic as this one. Gloating seems to be the style of some Swansea fans over this tragic matter and i find that disappointing.

Nobody on here is gloating about Sala dying. many on here are disgusted about CCFC's behaviour in all this, behaviour that you defend at every turn and indeed, you try to palm blame off on a club whom the evidence says have done nothing wrong. What name calling did I agree with? What nasty word was it? Show me the evidence.
