What you say is true, when a woman commits a crime people line up to make excuses whereas a man doing the same thing is roundly condemned and nearly always gets a stronger punishment from the courts.
Now Schofield, I don't fell sorry for him. He says nothing illegal happened but he's a proven liar and yes, his best mate binned him for lying to her face. I don't trust him to tell the truth because he's in full on self preservation mode and he will say anything to stop others asking questions.

He hasn’t received extra punishment. He’s been sacked from his job for acting inappropriately shagging a colleague on work premises and lying to his employers. Just as we all would. The press coverage isn’t punishment. The press are doing their job although I do think they are going way over the top with it.
Also worth noting that the press have known about this affair for over three years (Everyone knew). The fact they have waited until now to report on it despite there being no injunction is curious to me. What has triggered this I wonder? Why now? | |
