Indeed. My grandparents spoke welsh because that’s how they were brought up,being Cardies . I was brought up English speaking and had welsh chucked upon me at school. The most unpleasant exchanges on here revolve around the bluddy language . You could kick a kitten into the canal and get less grief
I have explained to you many times I am not anti English. I value being in the UK but rail against any one who calls me English. You upbringing has poisoned you against the language. The language was simply the medium.
Times were hard then especially in rural communities of the 1960 and 1970s. I saw it myself. Sons were seen as "Gwas" which also mean slave. Hard graft and payment in food lodge and 'puddin rice'. It was a job to get food on the table. I have no doubt it was the same in the est Country and North.
People now feel they have a right for a more than comfortable ife.

I am surprised you have been allowed for 20 years to be honest. You can kick the Welsh, Yanks maybe some eastern Europeans. Everyone else you have to be careful. You know the ropes.
My view on the club are very simple. I support the owners. It is not popular. If big money comes to Swansea it is they who will organise it. Kaplan and Levien have billionaires on auto speed dial. They require some good luck. Hopefully Njioe with be the next Rangel and Kukharevich blossom into a beast. Coleman 's nice life ion the Gower will not last long unless he makes a significant difference. It is not easy.
The fact they are American makes no difference to me. The club is solvent and struggling to re establish a upward trajectory.
Cooper did well with outstanding loans including two in the England team and another on the fringes. Because of too many 'quick fix' loans means past managers leave no legacy.
A daily diet of Cymru bashing is not normal. We are a tolerant people. English supremism is not common these days.

I have known many people who have left Wales and they have lived and worked all over the World, I am still in touch with some of them
