No two pandemics are the same though. There have been two major pandemics in our lifetime. Covid-19 and HIV/AIDS. Both are completely different viruses with different causes and necessary responses. The next pandemic is likely to be different again. Perhaps caused by an antibiotic resistant bacteria, or a parasite. We just don’t know. But it’s highly likely that the rules and response for the next pandemic will be very different. |  |

In medicine there is NO "one size fits all" answer. Whatwe lerned from covid needs to be remembered but it is unlikley the next pandemic will be so similar that it will help very much.
Research into vaccines is ongoing and new medicines are always a work in progress.

She has done Scotland a huge disservice when she was first minister. Scottish NHS collapsed, education system which was the best in the UK is now terrible. High deaths due to drug abuse in Europe. Life expectancy in Glasgow worse than some parts of Africa.
