This story really boils my bladder fluids. Mr Levien must be pulling his hair out. He authorized the loan to buy this guy for £1m.

Cooper "did not fancy him" sent him back then moaned. He preferred Lowe and Cullen.

"No number 9 see butt"

"No support see butt".

£87m ought to do it. Useless Yankees giving us cheap players and not backing their coaches. "we deserve better".

Whitaker anyone ?
Duff "Fletcher was OK"

What is it to them? No long term plans. They will all be off at the end of the season. It is the "Business culture" of the club. SHORT TERM ISM. Send the loans back.

None of the revisionists have managed to explain why Brighton let him go for £1m yet. Despite his potential being obvious in a FA cup game against Stevenage.

Resolven still hasn’t backed up his claim that Levein sanctioned a £1m bid, only that Gyokores was available for £1m.

That is your opinion. You try to undermine me with others I get it. It is spin. I am a fan not a journalist. I have explained my sources many time. The press and forums.

I do not care if you agree with me or not. I try to explain situations.

"Yankee go home" was not a good idea in 1944 and is not an good idea now.

For someone who supports our owners, your comments and the financials [some of which is commercially sensitive] which you post are causing them more harm than good.

Please back up your claims with sources. eg The £1m deal which Jase sanctioned.

He was clearly wrong on Piroe but very right on Bodde. If Watson can find Bodde he will be doing everyone a favour.

Swansea cannot afford Benteke. He would be no good. Swansea have to find 18 -21 year olds with potential and bring out and develop that potential.

I am suggesting Swansea mangers are too short term and looking at their own position not that of the club. Christian has scored prodigiously for the u21. What is the issue? Sign the lad.

Just an example, but Levein and Kaplan have managed to find a few quid (£60k-£70k) per week for him at DC United. Do they not fund us as well?

This is in no way a defence of Res because I disagree with him on just about everything but Cooper made a mistake with Gyokeres.
We had him for the first part of the season & Cooper clearly didn't rate him, he was a young striker who needed a bit of support from the manager & didn't get it. Never had a run of games- I think he only started 2?
Robins then had him for half a season & saw the potential that Cooper didn't.
Coventry over the last few years (until this summer) haven't paid £1 million plus transfer fees apart from Hamer & Gyokeres- they've made a massive profit on both.
Whether we had the option to sign Gyokeres for an agreed fee at the end of the loan period I don't know.

You cannot be seen to backing Resloven or the Yanks. You have to think of South Wales social pressures and your status in the community.

Cooper knew he was a good prospect but let him leave. Cooper said this.

"Brighton wanted to recall him, that happened a couple of days ago and he has said his goodbyes," said head coach Steve Cooper.

"I have to say he is a really good guy, and there is a good player in there".

Short term thinking costs big.

I have my opinion which I'll express when I want , it just so happens that it rarely matches yours.
In this case I agree that Cooper did get it wrong.
I also think that most of the short termism & bad decisions are the responsibility of the owners.
Try appointing the right people to positions in the club rather than getting it wrong, sacking them and paying them off only to repeat the mistake.

There has been a schism between recruitment and manager fro some time. Watson has a role here. There must be one team with one vision. Duff accepted 5 loans without assessing the academy. Potter signed Asoroa without considering Dan James.

Coleman and Gude are management people and accepted 5 loans. Loans are the definition of short term-ism. Parker has shown there is talent in the academy. Watson and Coleman have to better. Sheehan admits he as been putting a lot of hours into Patino for only a few months return.

Lets remember Ginnelly was a Duff signing.
