Are the WRU looking to go to two regions, one in Swansea one in Cardiff. Scarlets seem to think it is on the cards as local politicians are objecting to St Helens development, although they have a new sponsorship deal.

I watched an English wing forward in his prime in the 1990s and apart from one or two Samoans never seen such a committed player. Crunching tackles and total bravery.

We marvelled as his attitude. Sadly he has recently been diagnosed with a serious brain injury. All of us cheering him on sticks in my mind and make me dislike myself in retrospect. I do not want to name himbour of respect.

If you're talking about Lewis Moody, he's been all over the news, I think he wants it talked about to bring it to the attention of the masses. Raising awareness they call it.

The repercussions of possibly going down to two regions are starting to emerge and could cripple Welsh club rugby. The good players are not prepared to play in any proposed two region structure. They are saying if their current team no longer exists they will move outside Wales to play. There is also talk of players down through the regional age groups and academies looking to further their education away from Wales in English Universities and tie in with English clubs. Welsh club rugby could actually be much weaker if we went to two regions not stronger.

Like I said when it was first proposed that those at the WRU are totally clueless, they have caused the mess that Welsh Rugby finds itself in, need proper intelligent business and rugby people at the helm, it's a total shitshow at the moment.

The WRU if they cannot get a consensus will just have to let market forces make decisions for them. Cardiff should survive but one or two of Ospreys Scarlets and Newport will be allowed to go into administration.

If Swansea people with a population of 350,000 cannot economically out muscle and outlast the Scarlets in a city of 50,000 then Swansea does not deserve a team.

Cardiff will survive because the WRI now owns them, if market forces were allowed then Cardiff would already cease to exist. Cardiff being the largets city in Wales, it disproves the rest of your post.

All clubs need is a money man willing to dig deep.

Now the size of the towns. do I need to point out to you that it's the number of people who turn out to watch that matters which is why towns with smaller populations than Swansea get bigger football crowds.

Probably lose our best players to this new R360 alliance assuming that they are chosen of course, LRZ, Tomas Williams and Jack are probably nailed on, I'm struggling to think of any others Wainwright perhaps.

I think Welsh players are looking at spaces coming available in the English Premiership if English based players join the R360.

Don't blame them it's a short career and they need to play where the money is, I'm slowly but surely resigning myself to the distinct possibility that I'm unlikely to see another era like the Gatland era which was littered with World class rugby players again in what's left of my lifetime.
It's not a great feeling.

The R360 has a whiff of Packer and cricket about it. Very attractive to those towards the end of their career and could well lead to a reset in the wider professional game.

Strong rumours that the owners of the Ospreys have been talked into buying Cardiff from the WRU and therefore the Ospreys will be no more.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Yep, was told about that ages ago and I was shocked and from what I've been told there's much more to come, Welsh rugby is looking lost, if not doomed.

The WRU are more interested in making money than putting together a structured development plan for the benefit of clubs and the national team.

If I owned the Ospreys and loved my team, if the WRU offered me the chance to buy a new franchise at the expense of the team I loved I’d tell them to do one!

Where does that leave St Helens redevelopment? The whole thing is a mess.

Particularly as the cricket has moved out, possibly for no reason.

Personally I hope that if the Ospreys are no more there is a Swansea University/Swansea Rugby/Swansea Council development.

Despite the Ospreys being more successful the city of Swansea doesn't seem all that interested in them. Bigger crowds and more interest in Llanelli. From a business standpoint it's the obvious call.

Since the inception of the United Rugby Championship and it its predecessors the Ospreys have consistently been the best supported Welsh team followed by Scarlets, Cardiff and dragons. Only is the last two seasons has the Ospreys attendance fallen below the Scarlets.

The Cardiff and Dragons attendances are very accurate. When they played the 2 matches at the National Stadium if 40,000 attended both Cardiff and dragons were credited with a home attendance of 40,000 which is clear nonsense.

Interest in Welsh Rugby has certainly slumped
In 2012 the Ospreys averaged over 10,000 and has fallen season by season to just over 5000.

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.
