| Luke Williams sacking call ? 23:47 - Nov 8 with 2203 views | KeithHaynes | Does anyone remember his head being called for in early November last year, pretty sure there wasn’t that much being said. I think the first time we mentioned it on here was around January 20th. However, just before he was sacked we were told it was unlikely. So, maybe a repeat of that is on the cards ? | |

| Luke Williams sacking call ? on 01:16 - Nov 9 with 2120 views | JJBomber | First talk was at the end of October, when we went the whole month without scoring a goal. Luke was pointing to his record at Notts County as proof he could manage teams to score goals. He got a stay of execution in November, but the damage was done. | | | |

Muscat. We would need to move fast. A manager merry go round is developing in the Championship. Decisive action needed to get the best manager available. [Post edited 9 Nov 6:09]

We need a good tactician,we can’t give teams the time and space we currently do,we’re were marked out of the game yesterday yet Ipswich had acres with the ball, you’re not going to get anywhere like this Norwich and Boro both looking for new bosses now as well so that’s going to be a problem for us

we were marked out of the game because our build up is so slow, and predictable. giving teams time to get back.

Very good point, I’m still not sure it’s an option atm, Sheehan it seems is still supported. The costs in getting rid of Sheehan and O’Dea and replacing them and a coaching team if a new guy wants to pick his own would run into at least a few million.

They seem genuinely confused as to what their roles are, Key especially. He was nowhere to be seen as they came down our right. He doesn't seem to know if he is meant to be going forward or defending. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If we get relegated it would cost us a lot more

| Luke Williams sacking call ? on 20:28 - Nov 9 with 1486 views | swansjack84 | Memory is bit off, but I know as soon as Williams was linked with West Brom was it?? That he flirted with it and performances started to get worse. Didn't we start to go on a not so great run at end of December or around then? Either way, the whole Williams was sick in bed and haven't spoken to West Brom and flirted with this. While the manic antics of Coleman and the transfer window. It was massively toxic and led to the club cancelling fan forums to avoid questions. This time round it feels toxic in the sense that we have all come to the conclusion that Sheehan is a nice guy but it hasn't worked. The club needs to really get a manager in that has their stamp on it and we can judge them then. Sheehan pretty much cornered the club after saving us and it would of caused more up roar if he didn't get it. Even the club at the time said they was looking for someone else. You could see in the recent interview with Tom Gorringe that though he praises Sheehan he hinted in his manner that they had little option but to appoint him. | | | |
| Luke Williams sacking call ? on 21:19 - Nov 9 with 1420 views | KeithHaynes | Only one real man available who would be well received and that’s Michael Carrick. Unfortunately there’s absolutely no way the club can afford him. | |

| Luke Williams sacking call ? on 21:25 - Nov 9 with 1412 views | Dr_Winston | There was a small minority of people who questioned Williams' capability long before the WBA game, but the calls for his departure didn't really reach critical mass until after that. | |

Why is Carrick the only available option who woukd be well received? Cooper, Potter and Ridgers are all available.

Steve Cooper is the current manager of Brondby. Graham Potter is the current manager of the Swedish National Team. Rodgers is currently unemployed.

What are the salaries in the Championship for managers? Would £25K a week be enough to get Carrick?

I think Potter is only in charge of Sweden until after the WC, so could be a long term option. He wouldn't be my choice because if he gained the success we aim for he would be off anyway and we would have to start again.

I'm sure at a club our size any success and our manager would probably get a calling from a ''Bigger Club''. Look at Edwards at Boro. He's off after a good start with them.
