Here we go.

Swansea City : Matos faces a huge test 18th Feb 2026 08:00
Swansea City set out on a journey of two home games over four days this coming Saturday and then Tuesday evening. Saturday brings Bristol City (12:30pm) and Tuesday, Preston North End (7:45pm) Both games are winnable of course but will prove a lot harder than the two against Portsmouth and Oxford United. 0

Indy feature : Snoop Dogg inspires the future of Swansea City 19th Feb 2026 17:17
Followers of Swansea City seem to have more interest in a midweek home game against Preston North End (Tuesday 7:45pm) than the game against Bristol City which kicks off at 12:30pm this Saturday at the swansea.com. 0

Swans can rise to just three points from the play offs 20th Feb 2026 18:01
Austrian, Gerhard Struber brings his Bristol City side to the swansea.com tomorrow lunchtime with an indifferent track record of late, but still in the play off picture. They meet a Swans side who have grabbed the season by the throat since the arrival of head coach, Vitor Matos. This evening we take a step back with tickets still remaining for this fixture. 0

Swansea City now know if they take the points today they will most certainly be three points outside of the play offs (for a bit anyway) after Blackburn Rovers last ditch goal to defeat Preston last night. Tuesdays visitors Preston North End lost 1-0, so they will be looking to put that right on Tuesday in front of a completely sold out crowd. 0

⚽️ Swansea City: Lawrence Vigouroux; Ethan Galbraith, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess, Josh Tymon; Jay Fulton, Goncalo Franco, Melker Widell; Gustavo Nunes, Jisung Eom, Zan Vipotnik.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Josh Key, Malick Yalcouye, Ishe Samuels-Smith, Liam Cullen, Leo Walta, Joel Ward, Ollie Cooper, Ronald.

It's going to be a battle today with a sold out away end, hopefully we will sneak it by the odd goal. Squad selection today will be interesting and could upset a few.

Having Nunes starting was something many wanted, we talked about that in the week. It’s clear that Josh Tymon and Joel Ward aren’t considered up to the right back role. However, Matos did mention the flexibility of Galbraith. Walta, Ronald and Yalcouyé on the bench could prove the clincher in the second half.

Only surprise in there for me is Eom, maybe taking it as an opportunity to rest Ronald.

Bristol City looking a very good outfit at the moment. We need to get some control on this game.

Ref - He only sees what he wants to see, far too inexperienced for this game. Or just a throbbing incompetent.

Yes, some of the fouls against us are dubious at best. Clean game though, no nasty tackles.

Think we’ll need another one at least. They are one bit of luck from getting through on goal with that lump of theirs upfront.

I hope we come out firing from the off in the second half not sit back and hope for the best.

Vipotnik
By far the best striker since Boby
What he is doing is incredible

Needs truly looking after

I’m fearful this jerk for a ref might screw us

Just how are these people professional referees

Game is too open to call , yes we’re leading but Bristol look dangerous , couldn’t get down to the match today due to family commitments but enjoying the game , our press is impressive to say the least and it looks like every player is committed to the cause. But we do need that second goal

Agree Boundy, there's no doubting as to where these commentators opinions are lying, trying not to make it obvious of course.

Can’t think why you’d think that🤣cracking effort by Bristol , hitting the post , maybe it’s meant to be. Armstrong off for them so one threat if there’s nullified
