Worrying scenes of mass shop-lifting and civil disturbances in Clapham. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that there is a racial or ethnic dimension.

And therein lies the problem a label attached yet again to someone who belives in maintaining what little hold they have left on their countrys identiy and standing within the world . I consider myself leaning towards the right because of the way the direction this country is heading and if others chose to ignore then thats ok by me ,but as someone who studied history and social economics I truly belive that unless there is a managed and strong immigation policy (regardless which party adopts it but we know for certain it won't be labour) and unless we stop to taking a knee to the muslim faith and the insidiuos way their customs are tolerated then this country is doomed as a democracy, not in whats left of my lifetime but in my grandkids for certain.

The trend is that those that do not like the thought of Reform controlling our borders, deporting foreign criminals, doing away with woke lunacy and financial cost of, resort to the only weapon they have i.e. to play the racist card in a desperate attempt to shut down democracy... It is now about as effective as trying to stop a charging grizzly bear with a pea-shooter.

Years of crying wolf hey!

Calling Reform U.K and its voters racist no longer works, and it has a complete and utter opposite effect i.e. it motivates people to vote Reform even more, it recruits more voters also!

And 'racist' (LOL!) 'Reform' with Suella Braverman...Zia Yusaf...Nadhim Zahawi... Addy Asaduzzaman ...Rohan Beecha...Parvesh Kumar...Yaseen Saddique...Professor Sajjad Raja...Faisa Hussain...Mahendra Negi...Laila Ahmed El-Meleigy...Prabhdeep Singh and the plentiful amount of Sikh's that you tend to see in Reform U.K audiences etc?

Well that is the stark reality and truth, as opposed to lefty/Antifa/student activist crackpottery, lies and 'make believe'..... Reform U.K sure is doing a pitiful E- grade job for being (often portrayed) the party that'll make the U.K look like 1930's Germany.

How many Goldstein's, Cohens and Rosenberg's were fully paid up members of the Third Reich anyhow? Better ask antifa who like to call every man and his dog a Nazi!

Argus!

That sounds standard in my, very limited, experience.

I saw a shoplifter in Tesco Treboeth blatantly running out with a bag full of things in front of everyone. The worker was only allowed to tell them to stop but not touch them in anyway. This shoplifter was banned from the shop previously but the staff can't physically stop them entering, once they're in they take what they want and leg it. It happens several times a week.. I was told they sell it in the Penlan club.

Shoplifting as a term probably doesn't do it justice, its organised theft.

There is literally nothing that can be done at present. The last conservative government pretty much decriminalised shoplifting under the value of £200. And reduced the police officer numbers to mean nobody would turn up anyway.

and nearly two years into Labours' tenure they've the sum total of zero to stop the rot.

Well they've introduced this bill, which should receive royal assent soon :-

https://bills.parliament.uk/bi

This will make shoplifting a "non summary offence" potentially seeing sentences of 7 years in prison.

And given a shed load of cash to get more police on the streets.

We've got at least 10 years of putting the disastrous last government behind us.

There’s a lot of rot to put right!!!

In terms of law and order, we’re still paying the price for the disastrous Cameron May government’s changes to the criminal justice system and austerity program.

This be fair to Boris, he reversed a lot of the cuts in police numbers, but making good 10 years of filleting the police and criminal justice system will take years. Lots of experience left and was eventually replaced by kids, not enough prison spaces, disastrous changes to probation service, bail act reforms, slashing courts so victims and suspects have to wait 2, 3 or even 4 years for a case to come to trial. Imagine being a victim of a sexual offence and having to wait 4 years for justice, or being an innocent person accused of a crime and having your life on hold for 4 years. Scandalous.

Unfortunately it takes time to get things done.

Jeremy Vine phone on Radio 2 yesterday inviting different arguements on shoplifing and the criminals who would or should be classed as thieves or desperate .

Neutral BBC sat on the fence as is thier policy in broadcasting , maybe on occasions
But I will point the finger at Plod and reaction times to any issue regarding thieves
It is your problem to protect your stock , sorry other more important duties .

This Government will again harp on about putting the public and shopworkers safety as a element in our next quango meeting , all freeloaders invited to a non event .

Maybe some MPs should have a go at being a colleauge on the shop floor .

Form a queue at the check out or have a tantrum when you cannot get served now .

All for this and also experience the shifts of frontline NHS workers, Police, social workers and also spend a week on a commercial farm and running a small business...

Far too many politicians have no clue what the real underbelly of this country looks like, they lead sheltered lives

We're just storing trouble up. Winding the spring repeatedly. When it finally goes bang, there will be bodies in the street.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
