Well, if you are telling me that more people than I would imagine support a president who started an illegal war, alienated most of his major allies with puerile statements, misinterpret the raison d’etre of NATO and makes astounding statements live to the world day in, day out, then I feel sorry for you. If you can’t see what the rest of the world can, that doesn’t bode well for you.
I’ve spent time many years ago living ever so briefly with a family in the mid west. I’ve never nor will I ever meet nicer people than that family. They would be turning in their graves with the state the US has got itself into which is attributable in the main to one man.
I can’t argue that you know more about domestic politics than I do. It’s without question. But the best thing that can happen for global stability both militarily and economically is Trump to be replaced either with a Democrat or a more sane Republican.

The Epstein files have existed in some form or another for nearly 20 years, ever since the FBI started investigating him in 2006. For more than half of that time the Democrats have been in power in the US, therefore controlling the Justice Department. You would have to think that if they had anything especially incriminating on Trump they'd have used it by now. Indeed, based on his attempts to dob Epstein in you'd have to assume the opposite.
There's more than enough that's come out that should have prevented him from ever running again, but I very much doubt anything more will come from that source. It's a shiny thing to distract people but not worth all that much. It's the relatively minor players like Mandelson who will be torpedoed by it. | |

And the war was not just illegal it was unwinnable. He’s looking for an off-ramp because regardless of all his bluster, he knows he can’t win it. Iran don’t need to win, they just don’t need to lose.
And in starting this war he’s plunged other countries into economic crises, sent the price of oil over the S100 a barrel mark and creating a fuel shortage. He is a bully boy whose insecurity as a man shows every minute of the day. Trying to intimidate world leaders such as Zelenskyy in the WH in front of the world’s press. Disgusting! Trying to get Spain expelled from NATO because they won’t engage in his little games.
