A cynical view of Galbraith's position as I think a PL club would see it:
1. One season in the Championship. Good, promising, but hasn't set the world on fire. Far too early to tell what he's really got.
2. Not yet up to PL standard. Bring him in then out on loan?
3. Got injured and was out for some weeks. Is he fragile?
4. Has loyalty problems, airs disputes with his club on public forums. Dressing room risk.
I think he is being over optimistic. I think his agent has wound him up and wants the transfer commission. | | | |

Quite a few people I know were there at the awards last night. All mention that he was exuding animosity or just looked pissed off. He had to turn up, I would have thought that’s contract related, and of course he had an award.

He was very cold on the stage receiving the award and the interview with Mal Pope was strained. However, he was very professional with the fans, posing for photos, signing autographs or just having a general chat. I was sitting about 6 feet away from him for the evening. He was very professional all night with the fans. Maybe his stage act was just an act? | | | |

This is a shame because he has one season under his belt at this level and up until recently he has been great off the field. Quickly turning in to a "Pato". We all know where this ends up. He certainly has talent but so do all our other players. I'm not sure how his wage compares. |  |

He's not an up and coming youngster who's showing promise. He's 25 in under a fortnight so Premier league clubs will be looking and comparing with similar talent that's considerably younger.
If he gets a move it's more likely to be a relegated club or a bigger Championship club. He's very good but he's not the messiah. | | | |

He agreed the terms of the contract and the lenght of it ,if he is throwing a tantrum over what the club has recently offered ,which would probably mean a pay rise meaning he’d be in a better place than he originally agreed to ,he’s making himself look a bit daft
His agent will undoubtedly be in his ear ,probably promising bigger bucks elsewhere but he’s a Swans player until that contract runs out or somebody comes in with a big offer that the club will accept ,he’s going nowhere,and if he is another Whittaker then let’s hope someone does offer silly money and he goes because let’s be honest , he is a good player but we haven’t really missed him while he’s been out

There really is no need, just offer the buyout price and agree terms with Galbraith. He hasn't got to prove anything clubs are already prepared to pay the contracted fee and give him a hefty signing on fee and contract.
