The tactics used by Argentina are pretty dismal, you would like to think that if they resorted to actually playing football their quality in certain areas would mean they could win games deservedly.They in the end deserved to win against England but equally deserved to lose against Spain, horrible to watch "lesser" teams resort to the tactics used by Argentina but it seems wasted when you can rely on your talented players on the pitch.
For me there is a huge difference between Konsa's desperate but deserved red card and some of Argentina's tactical challenges for.me worthy of red cards.
Their true nature came to the foreground again and in the end they got punished, how many times to referee's have to see the same team making the same tactical fouls before taking action. Nothing wrong with the odd tactical foul which we expect to get punished for but when there are so many how can a referee punish them all appropriately.
Happy to see Spain win but I suppose I am being naive to think a team resorts to tactics that wins you more than just one world cups,Argentina would change those tactics | | | |

The ball has to come out of the defensive third with more pace and intent than we've seen from his sides so far for the most part. I do think we're limited in what we're going to be able to do on that count with current personnel. | |
