Amazingly after Saturday's game a couple on here posted we had played the 3 worst teams in the league perhaps Watford are the 4th🤔

I watch from home last night , damaged Hamstring so wished i was there,
Watford are no mugs and after all the pressure if they had scored it could of turned so different.
Firstly for us , get the safety figure of points , then see were we are and push on .
Oh yes almost forgot , a treble double also please , youd swear they won the league after the 3 nil loss

Sometimes when you completely outplay a team you make them look poor, its not that they are necessarily poor. Many times when we easily beat a team go on their message boards and supporters say it is the worst they have played all season. Go figure.

Football fortunes do change you're right . We are all enjoying the moment but it is also important to keep our feet firmly on the ground and not get carried away. I would also add that sometimes we can go over the top with the chants . The England world cup chant ? Why? its history forget it. The oles can also prove problematic . You could see the Watford tackles increasing in intensity in the last 10 mins and the foul count certainly went up.Was the increase in aggression purely coincidental with derogatory chants towards the opposition? I am not so sure. I know it is football and passions run high but sometimes I dont think we do ourselves any favours. We play another welsh team on Saturday so not quite the same scenario . The last thing we want is a player getting crocked because an opponent is too wound up derogatory chants dont help in this aspect.

Charlton were top of the table on Saturday night!!
Table at this stage of the season throws up a false picture.
Nevertheless a very promising start 3 wins and a draw and a healthy goal difference.
Importantly we are progressing as a team with a very strong squad.
Playing good entertaining football.
What a great first half last night.
