Liverpool were mugs not to tie him down. At least to sell him for big profit in few years.

I knew he was going to crack into the senior squad very soon. He bloody scored a winner in his first senior touch in his entire life FFS!

He will be a huge player for us. The only concern is he signed for 2 years only. Hopefully we'll be able to sort it out.

Yep. The hard work was done for him for the goal. Didn’t really have much time to show anything else.

Still, a debut a goal is a debut goal.

Nothing against him personally other than that tackle showed how bad a defender he was, wasn't even close to getting the ball.

Kilkenny...For all that I dislike about your opinions in/on life, I love the fact that we can talk about football/the swans and agree/disagree without enmity.

He didn’t score with his other two touches though so get rid!

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Alan Smith is the only other player to score on his debut with his first touch when he played for Leeds as an 18 yr old.

There's probably loads more but nobody would know if you told them down the pub.

Apparently Liverpool have called a emergency board meeting to discuss why they let him go.

Definitely - 14 hours ago it was all doom & gloom and now after a somewhat fortunate win, delighted with it but 1 game of 46 so a very long way to go!

Dhanda has settled well & looks to be a decent free signing but no more at this point.

It wasn't a fortunate win. We were better all over the park. We had one or two lapses, the goal and their unbelievable Miss but apart from that we were incisive and in reality should have scored more. Let's not forget that two of our best players out there only joined up with us this week!

We had half as many attempts on goal and less possession. It was a bloody good way to start the season but let's not go OTT.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

We had double their shots on target and 48% possession that for a refreshing change wasn't just knocking it amonsut our back four. We were terrific particularly in the 2nd half against a team that dominate most at home. Enjoy.

How long has 9 been half of 12?

More possession would have been nice, but it is goals that count, something we have had a problem with since LLorente & Sigi left.

He’s a definite upgrade on Apache Indian, Killy. There’s no two ways about it.
