I've worked for the council for the best part of 40 years, not once have I heard of one of us plebs recieving any freebee, wouldnt know about high ranking officers, but the rest of us no fvcking chance.
And on a side note no we do not receive any bonuses, free lunches, subsidised lunches, free parking, free access to leisure centres,reduced poll tax or whatever it's called these days, and that is just a sample of the sh!t, uneducated comments directed at myself and other colleagues by some folk on discovering that we work for the council.
