The UK has been a diverse place since the Romans occupied these lands. They brought people from all over Europe here. We had some Arab visitors too, in the 18th century. Diversity, like many of your opinions, is not new and modern. | |

Or even the english team who have been more than happy to play non English players for years, they have played at least six Caribbean born players in my memory one of whom is still playing. A couple a channel island players, the odd south African. Michael owen who throughout his career has never lived in England who has always lived in his native Wales. Terry Butcher is another player born abroad. The list is endless.
The Irish rugby team is just as bad with a third of the starting lineup born in the southern hemisphere.
