Kasper Junker has put himself in the championship window alerting top clubs. 27 goals in 25 games last season.

I can’t find anything that leads to our specific interest. He’s 26 and desperate to get a club in England.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Would signing this guy be possible for us post brexit? No international caps?

Watford just signed a winger from the same team who also doesn't have any caps. That was a free transfer so the rules might be different, however.

Need to make the Watters deal happen if we can, although think they are a bit above their station at the moment. Seem to have gone from £1m to £2m pretty quickly for a player they picked up for nothing. They aren’t going to be doing the players mental state too good who can see a potential move to a club that could be in the Premier League next year.

Young, hungry and talented. Sounds like the perfect Swansea formula. I think at £1m it may be worth the gamble, I can’t imagine he will command too much in wages.

If we pick up a player on a free that demands 5k more a week than Watters would over the course of a 3 year contract... that’s essentially the transfer fee right there.

Take the plunge.

Having a good season at Bodo, but hasn't done much in previous years. Anything over £1m and it's not worth the risk

With Dr P on this one, I think this boy is the one.

What surprised me with his cameo against Leeds was how mobile he was, his touch when it was played up to him chest height. He ran channels, he obviously knows where the net is looking at his record, he didn't look like a young striker trying to make his way into the game. He's only going to get better and I'd love it if that was with us.

So does that mean that Watford player was subject to the new post brexit criteria or not?

not knocking the guy but based on his 20 minutes introduction to the wider football audience I can't see how his valuations gone from 1 to 2 million

As the window closure approaches the more Crawley will be willing to moderate their valuation. A club like Crawley cannot see £1m flow down the river, given that he is effectively litte worth to them at the end of the month.

Swansea s bait of £500k is sitting on the table as the clock ticks.

I don't see how that 20 minute cameo proves anything, good or bad. We couldn't sign him on that basis but if the scouts see something in him then fair enough.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

For EU citizens to work in the UK credentials have to be checked - until June 2021 nothing changes and a EU passport is sufficient - and the following need to be met.
the minimum skill level will be set at RQF3 (equivalent to A level)
the minimum salary threshold will be the higher of £25,600 or the ‘going rate’ for that job — some employees may be paid less than £25,600, for example if their job is in a shortage occupation
any applicants from outside the UK must also meet English language requirements
(Who does which part of the application and to what extent a 'sponsor' is required depends on the job and what level of skill and pay are involved.)

Coming to the UK for work, especially on a fixed term contract, hasn't changed. EU workers always had to comply with our laws. (Another Brexit myth if anyone bothers reading up on the subject.)

As a player is not seeking to emigrate they do not have to meet immigration / residency requirements and even right to remain is for the time being a grey area.
So, there should be no problem with the government regarding bringing a player from the EU at least until June.
The problems arise from the FA who can now apply the same rules to EU citizens as it does to non-UK qualified players / British subjects. UEFA and FIFA rules are incorporated by the FA.

So in short - the government she say , 'yes' - the FA she say,'maybe'.

Yeah especially after rounding the keeper and not shooting for about ten minutes allowing the defence to get back.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
