Lancashire is due a monsoon.It has started on the coast here and it's heavy metal stuff that will fall on already sodden moors around Blackburn and flow into the rivers.Their pitch is appalling and is clearly unplayable so a very good sensible early decision to postpone. The game was never going to go ahead with a forecast as it was.
The Pennine area will see most destructive flooding and I feel for those with businesses only just recovering from the last floods.
