Jamal Lowe analysed after his Stoke City performance 4th Mar 2021 15:52 Over the past month Jamal Lowe’s relentless running has been significant for the swans, however, his goals, most certainly have dried up, and his game involvement too, does Jamal need a rest ? Or is this just the usual dip in form ?0

I do like his effort and his willingness to work for the team , but Mo Salah can run all day as well but is he a goal scorer . He was poor last night with a number of misplaced lay offs & passes giving the ball away when not really under too much pressure . He needs a rest even if only for himself because I think he's trying too hard now to compensate for his lack of goals .It worked for us when we played one up top nullifying Stokes overload in the middle and we seemed to dominant because of it , was that a case of Stoke tiring I don't know but it worked .Perhaps Cooper stumbled upon another way to play one in which Lowe could be benched and brought on later in the game if its not working out

Paul Arriola has been at the club 5 weeks now and had to games for the USA before that. He is a good player can run and score. Time to give Lowe 2 weeks break to recharge his batteriees.

Indeed.,and my point along along. Why bring in players from USA and then simply ignore them until too late. Morris injury was tragic .
Im told Steve has good /great game management.I beg to differ.
Along with Andre, he’s always eager to work hard without the ball he’s a great team player. And always looking to make runs to show when we have the ball. He’s been a big part of our success.
But at Stoke he had a very poor game in possession which was not often ( enough ). He still did his chasing back and was willing to run but he looked a bit low on confidence. May be a rest from the starting X1 on Saturday will be the tonic he needs. We haven’t got too many options. Whittaker May be but not convinced he’s ready.

Jamal was bought as a winger but made to play as a striker.Being a good little pro ,he has worked at it and got some early success. He is not a natural striker and naturally is now being caught short. His attitude is one of a real team man and a trier but he needs protecting as he should have been weeks ago, which bring me back to Steve. Think I 'll leave it there as it's getting tedius . That said, yes he needs to be rested for two full weeks.

I’m a big fan of his.

I’m a big fan aswell, but he’s been running on empty for weeks, give him a fortnight on bench and get his batteries recharged for the run in. We need him fit and firing.

I d send him wild swimming
Lovely idea, the lakes near us in Vejer towards Burgos are excellent, invigorating, and most have alcoves with little bars and restaurants on them, I may go on Sunday.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
Seems destined to be the kind of striker who blows hot and cold in front of goal, although he isn't helped by us not being what you'd call a free flowing, attacking side.
Good player though. Well worth his place in the squad and what we paid. Just wish we'd give Whittaker the occasional appearance. Manning made a mockery of the lack of rotation last night, who knows who else could do so if given a chance?
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Ayew and Lowe have been carrying most of the weight of scoring for a long time. When the goals dried up the pressure increased.
They need and deserve a break. They won't get a proper break now though because we have no alternatives for both of them so, a bit more rotation is needed.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

2 goals for Lowe on Saturday. If he starts.
I can't see it top be honest, not running the channels like he was, not holding the ball up, the goals wont come because he's not getting in the positions to score at the moment.
It's down to energy for me, desperately needs a blow and I'm certain he will come back like he was earlier on in the season. His all round play has always been brilliant for us until recently.
