Cooper will definitely give Ayew a run out, IF he is to be believed from his press conference.

Cullen is in the hot seat. Young Welsh forwards are as rare as rocking horse droppings. Jason Bowen was the last and he was in the main a championship player. Will he make the grade? Hard to know. Promising signs of late. Cooper drums out those he does not rate and seems to like young Liam.

| Liam Cullen looking to shine for Swansea City against Watford on 11:20 - May 10 with 375 views | howenjack | Its refreshing to see the exuberance and energy this lad shows on the field . He chases everything and gets in good scoring positions . He is not in a position where he takes it for granted that he will play . The problem with playing virtually the same team every week is that there will be some individuals who will , consciously or subconsciously relax because they are nailed on to play the following week. No competition results in a drop off in intensity . There have been one or two dips in performances at the back resulting in mistakes being made and goals scored by the opposition . what I would have liked to have seen more of is Bradley Cooper given more match time to see how he performs and also to send a message to the other centre backs . (Likewise goalkeeper and fullbacks .)This move would have made it possible to play Guehi as a defensive midfielder and see what he can do there. The same applies to midfield where one individual in particular seems to lack the effort /determination required. The only way we are going to be successful in the play offs is for everyone to be on their A game from the start and to play with high intensity for 95 minutes +. Anything less and we won't make it . Barnsley are a young energetic side who rotate in numbers so the intensity doesn't drop , we will have to match that to have any chance. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Guehi would do far better in midfield than Hourihane overall.
