| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

100% agree. Because of the nature of sport in USA you don't have the need to speculate to accumulate as there's nothing really to be gained by it. There's no promotion or relegation. The concept is totally beyond them, IMO all/majority of yank owners are poor. Look at Arsenal, ManU ......
| Season's Turning point. on 10:42 - May 30 with 746 views | Badlands | Hamer - probably only signed as an emergency measure .. hasn't played Conor Hourihane (from Aston Villa) - Loan Jordan Morris - unlucky injury but wasn't used Morgan Whittaker - hardly played Paul Arriola - Wasn't played, had an injury, someone dug up dirt. Kieron Freeman - Hardly played. Hourihane - scored a couple of stunners but has been a passenger as we all could see except Cooper. Spectacularly ineffective yesterday. Cooper brought back from Newport - played 1 minute. Asoro - sold, not a goal scorer but a very pacy player which we have not had all season. Tactics and game management were a far bigger problem than paying £ millions for a player who might, like Morris, have lasted a few minutes. | |

So you are saying the concept of relegation is beyond Jason Levien? I am not sure of your educational background but Jason is a qualified Lawyer. The concept was not beyond them, The US players were not instaed of anyone. They were avaialble and cheap and worth taking. Both experiened full internationals, fit having played one or two games after injury just like Brewster. Arriola played last night and scored. Good player. Try not to prejudge Swansea's owners. They are not super billionaires but have good contacts and can help the club going forward and can help the SCST do whatever they want to do.

Our front two got 31 goals between them this season. Both scored more than Watford's top scorer. Not many goals from elsewhere though. 5 for Connor, 5 for Conor, 4 for Cabango. Cullen should have played more before his injury, give Ayew and Lowe a rest during their lean periods.

MGW didnt help but I wouldn't have been surprised if Steve had misused him also. We need to retain our beter young players and ditch him asap. We are also stuck with several "ones for the future",when the future was already staring u in the face. Freeman,Hamer,Whittaker seem utterly unwanted and none have had much of a chance really.

| Season's Turning point. on 14:29 - May 30 with 628 views | Dr_Winston | Cooper had Gyokeres. He couldn't get a tune out of him. He had Cullen, he barely used him. He had Morris, he barely used him. He's had Whittaker, and barely used him. He's chosen to use a 36 year old shortarse winger upfront instead. Somehow people believe that the lack of a striker was our problem. Jasper is correct. With the goal return from Ayew and Lowe there was no need for more forwards. Just the will and interest to try to get something out of the multitude of forwards he's had available all season. That's also not taking into account that our form even with Brewster before the lockdown last season wasn't all that. An expensive striker isn't a magical solution to Cooper's teams being crap going forward. [Post edited 30 May 2021 14:54]

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Those of us of a certain age will remember two that were bought "for the future" aka Andy Watson and Tommy Mutton. Neither could hit a cow's arse with a banjo!!

Good post. The Future teaches us to be alone. It’s why I am so cynical as to our recruitment team/ management. We bitch amongst each other and give appalling abuse when it should be directed at those in power . People need to be angry and to accept our demise was not inevitable. Farking Brentfird have passed us along the way Brentford .

The first set of Americans HJ wanted to sell too were not aware we could be relegated from the premier league. Fact. I agree with your point about the American players though as you already know. [Post edited 30 May 2021 17:56]

| Season's Turning point. on 09:49 - May 31 with 426 views | AndyCole | Battering Cardiff 2-0 away. Football smashing hoofball, as per. Most importantly it was a turning point for Lowe and our fluid frontline. It turned even our most miserable supporters and gave them belief. That belief was cemented a few weeks later when we beat league leaders Norwich 2-0, showing how we could mix it up and also outplay and beat the proper football playing teams. Lowe and Cooper were voted player / manager of the month. | |
