According to Voetbal International, PSV Eindhoven have received an offer of €2 million for the 21-year-old striker, who scored once in 11 league appearances for the club last season. Piroe was highly regarded in the PSV academy but has yet to make his breakthrough. He had an unsuccessful loan with Sparta Rotterdam during the 2019/20 season and has mostly played for Jong PSV in the Keueken Kampioen Divisie.

Perhaps he's said he'll stay if they back him, if true, maybe we'll see him being more expansive in our style of play, I hope that's they case if he is staying, but who knows.

Prudent. We don't know how Covid will affect football next season. At this stage I’m more concerned about who our manager will be.

The People who run our club must have known about Covid for over 10 years, because the spendiing policy hasn't changed much in the whole decade. .

The club is run off what is in the current account with a few small bridging loans. It has always been the way it has been done. There has been one big change. This is the Convertible loan note which might see fresh USA capital by the issue of new shares. This means dilution of the SCST which is a good thing. Remember they never wanted to free up cash by selling their shares.

I didn't know about that, I was under the impression we were way in credit on transfers over the last 10 years. Thanks for correcting me. Well, as they chucked that amount of money away, I'm shocked at the dimwittedness of the American owners. How on earth do these knuckleheads ever attract investment?

Swansea fans abusing the USA owners make me laugh. The fans own body saw a x100 return on their investent in 2015 but went around telling people "Selling was not their preference". Consequently they are skint getting 0.15% on the money the club gave them in dividends. The US owners will double they money if the club is promoted. Silverstein will see a 5x return. The Trust will see a 200 x return on their holding if they actually make friends and network. They seem determined to give their assets away to third parties instead of working with the US people who have the same objectives. [Post edited 12 Jun 2021 19:37]

A reference from 3 years ago shows that he may not have kicked on as expected. https://bleacherreport.com/art He could find his mjo again with Swansea or simply be the "next Joel" after Asoro. [Post edited 12 Jun 2021 22:51]

All transfers are a gamble to some extent. The usual question to ask is how will he fit into our style of play, however what is our style of play or what will be our style of play next season make that question more difficult than usual.

I think he brought Ferrie Boode to the club so he has some credibility. However what makes his view more respected than those of Swansea s scouting team.? No doubt Ivan Toney was told he was 'a league one player' when drummed out of Newcastle. That is where he he went.

The Trust may have had a huge return a few years ago but the other people sold the club behind the trust's back. Now it's all conjecture.

The club was sold in July 2016. The SCST were aware of it in March 2016. It was sold in their full knowledge.
