Wales on Line have put an article on news now saying we will have cash flow problems if we don't sell. They don't like us do they. Dug out the Swiss ramble from a while back.

Probably true though. Grimes or Cabango will most likely go.

Must be better to get players in before we sell if we can. If you sell first the price just goes up because the selling club knows you have cash to spend.

Well, last declared profits were 2.2 million or thereabouts, the next I do expect to be more. Im unsure sometimes if they know what they are saying, especially as Swiss ramble would agree. Odd story.

Last season there was covid and the parachute payment was down massively on that profitable year. I'd be surprised if we showed a profit on the books (but then I was surprised we showed one in that year as well). Think we stand a better chance of showing a profit this season because hefty wages and amortisation on Ayew's contract represented nearly £10m in "costs" on its own. We've always been cash poor, even in the days of £100m tv money we had to borrow against future payments to keep doing business. Banks took big cuts of our biggest player sales because we couldn't wait for 4 years of instalments. At least with Rodon Spurs paid the £11m up front.

Roberts should be first out of the door. He is out until October but this should not be a huge issue as he is known to be very fit. He is out of contract next summer. He must sign a new deal ,or go, on the back of his standout Wales performances.

Has there been a falling out? If Cooper's spoken to other clubs, surely we'd have to have given him permission to do so?

You have to put it in context of Cooper already having asked for an extension. If the club do not agree a new deal then surely they cannot block him for looking around. Remember he is like normal people with houses mortgages schools etc to think about. He wants to know where he will be living next year.

Even if the wording in that unresputably sourced article were accurate, Where's the conflict alluded to in the first post that I quoted?

Probably not mate, if he gets one it may well be on the basis of the teams performance pre xmas.
