I’ve had a gathering at our modest home prior to a Tranmere game. I sang a few Cohen songs but they seemed rather dumbstruck. Tidy lads though,some of whom post on this site.

I got badly dunk on vodka and red bull one football trip (end of season tour, not the swans) and the red bull kept me going. We were still in the hotel bar at 4am, the bar was shut but they left us there with a supply, me and 2 others. We were playing a match with a local team at 10am. I barely slept (red bull eh!) and when I did finally get to sleep they were getting me up 20 minutes later. I tried to play but I was a proper mess. I was sick several times, I had the major shakes, a banging head and my reactions were like a stunned slug.
I haven't touched vodka or red bull since. I actually rarely drink at all anymore.
I couldn't promise I'd come. Maybe if it was before or after a game next season though I'd probably have my son with me and wouldn't stay long.

I quite like Vodka but prefer Gin,especially Raspbery Gin accompanied by fresh raspberries.
Im not sure the Alma would serve this. They didnt have any Perrier last time and the bar girl had never heard of it.
I got drunk once in Neath in 1968. Ive not been really legless since.I ve always been sensible and seen stag weekends as meetings for d1ckheads trying to act like they are 18 again.Pitiful really. | |

Wuss is a word Ive not heard in ages.I recall it a valley saying or a Turk one;chaps with thick accents normally wanting to fight you as you were a Jack.
Us Swansea men weren't all that popular in south Wales.
Valleys hated us,as did Turks and those on other side of the Briton Ferry Bridge.
I always though the Loughor and BF bridges kept us pure but thee days we have greater harmony innit and that's a joy to behold.
Now Keith.Liverpool .It's gonna happen innit.Steve is gonna take us up and I really will buy you a small drink at the Ship and Mitre on Dale Street. I mention that pub as I spoke to the manager there last time we played in Liverpool and he reckoned we were the best away fans he's had there. Not sure about that meself mind. | |
