Swansea City are listening. 18th Dec 2021 12:22It hasn’t been the best of times for Liam Cullen this season. He has struggled on the pitch when given an opportunity despite a wonderful touch for Joel Piroe’s goal at Preston. Cullen has been carefully managed by Russell Martin, and as a result, and in his best interests it has been decided, if the opportunity arises, he should spend the rest of this season out on loan. 0 Cullen’s quandary clarified, click above. Twits below.

I think both will go Max, Cullen and Whittaker, and we will again go for Greenwood at Leeds and from what we are hearing one from two at Man City.

Cullen has taken time to adapt to new levels as he has transition fro m u18, u23 to first team. He has 23 championship games and 4 goals. He his also a set peice specialist. I have seen a number of free kicks he has knocked in. This is one KPI he could focus on. (key performance indicator) He was unlucky to have one tap in written off. He was in line not offside v Huddesfield I think. Ollie Cooper and Brandon have slotted in at Newport easily. He should go there or Wrexham a level lower and start banging in the goals.

Absolutely. He'll do very well to find regular game time in the English Football League. Whoever advised him not to put on muscle as a late teenager / young adult has failed him. He's both slow and physically weak. What hope does he have?

He's a waif. Most people his age in your average Gym would crush him underfoot. I feel for Cullen. He is way out of his depth and has been mismanaged. He is in no way good enough for us. Maybe Forest Green is his level. Whittaker can play and has to be managed right. He has filled out as he should have and since that hat trick hasnt had a sniff. beats me anyway.

Sad but true. Nowhere near good enough on performances to date. Johnson at Forest is younger than him ….

Cullen's model is not Johnson who is a speedy winger. His model is probably like a economy version of Robbie Fowler. Robbie was neither particularly strong or particularity fast. He was just very sharp in the penalty box and a dead eye finisher. A question of good touch, good movement, positioning and a clean striker of the ball. He was unlucky v Huddersfield as he was on side and first to the rebound. The lino let him down.
