I guess it depends on how the players feel about him, as much as the fans. If he loses the fans, that's one thing but if he loses the dressing room?

We are doing a feature on Cyrus Christie next week, from the people we have spoken to he is one hard man, and he wants to sign for the swans. With Downes and Grimes very pro the manager as well. Plus Fisher and Nathanael Ogbeta, Naughton, Smith and Bennet old mates of RM I would have thought the dressing is safe for now.

| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 20:39 - Feb 12 with 1159 views | Thornburyswan | Fans on forums are definitely turning & a poor performance plus defeat tomorrow would accelerate that momentum but I think fans in the stadium are more mixed - if the performance was like the Stoke match then I’d expect some negative stuff & it might be a tad quiet/tense at times although the fact the Wurzels are bringing 2000 might actually up our noise level at least for a while anyway. | | | |

The captain of the club is highly unlikely to be publicly making statements about being unhappy with the manager. He can't be too pleased with the rests or the quality of the performances. A good win and it will placate many. A heavy defeat and poor performance and the calls for him to go will get a lot louder. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 23:05 - Feb 12 with 1032 views | Dr_Parnassus | 2-0 win for me tomorrow. BUT if we do lose, yes fans continue to turn I would say. But nothing fundamentally changes, we are still pretty clear of relegation and we are still too skint to do anything about it. | |

| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 23:40 - Feb 12 with 1020 views | STID2017 | I cant see anything other than a win for us tomorrow.. I think based on RM's last interview, he knows he needs to change things and improve and honestly feel tomorrow will see that. With 2000 Bristol fans, should be a cracking atmosphere | |

I think most fans have figured out that the club can't afford to sack him and his staff, so they will play along and pretend he's building something special for the long run...they won't believe it though and he will bleed out support until the summer. In the summer we will make some signings (same as any summer) and then our fans will convince themselves that the signings will fix us (same as every summer)...and then we will continue to be shite , because Martin appears to be clueless.

| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 01:54 - Feb 13 with 971 views | Swans9 | R McBride said coaching Leinster you only as good as the players you coach. They called it cooperball on ps unless yanks back club money wise no coach can keep fans happy. | | | |

The Blackburn game ( from my vantage point ) 🤠seemed to have an excellent atmosphere, I’m hoping for even better today.

Your right and I wouldn’t expect him to. But within the dressing room those are the players who will ensure an equilibrium.

| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 07:22 - Feb 13 with 912 views | 73__73 | I’d like to see the club make a serious effort to poach Kloop from Liverpool and give him £500 million transfer budget. It’ll be great to have champions league at Swansea. Can’t wait. | |

It was flat early on but the goal with Pato assist upped the volumes & then the Manning sending off definitely helped galvanise the fans & players as the clocked ticked down.
| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 08:07 - Feb 13 with 899 views | BillyChong | Russ is safe under these owners and he knows it. No way are the yanks paying a manager off. The weathers not great here and an early KO after a rugby day won’t make it a true atmosphere. 3pm on a Saturday different story. | | | |

The fans sang Russell Martins barmy army even when we were losing. It's only the wombles on here who wouldn't sing it.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

| Where does defeat leave RM tomorrow on 19:52 - Feb 13 with 701 views | GixerJack | There was a chap sitting not far from me that had a bit of a meltdown during the first half, it was 0-0 and the ball was being played across the back and the Bristol front line tried to press. Nothing came of it and we just played through the press and slowly progressed up the field. What struck me was that this guy seemed surprised and disappointed that when Bristol chased and closed the ball down that our back line didn’t just deploy the kick it as far as you can tactic to give it back to them and subsequently save them the bother of having to run. Despite his Neanderthal understanding of football, I do think he was a genuine Swansea supporter because he seemed pleased when we firstly drew level then on to win the game. It takes all sorts I suppose. | | | |

The fans showed a lot of support to Martin after the game when he came over. Football fans are fickle, always what suits.
