| If you were Hamer 09:13 - Mar 9 with 1256 views | onehunglow | Watching the guy that took your place ,how exactly would you be feeling right now. If players are picked on form-as they should be... Why aren't people asking this;not us armchair dogs but people who are the better fan and go to games? Why are we being subjected to this . Why are decent players being nullified and treated so badly. Why sign injured players and a young centre half who is still not selected a 30 something has been slow defender picked instead. There is more anger between fans | |

Some will argue that Fisher is comparable but spunking money on him when we don’t have any is scandalous He’d be my 3rd choice based on performances this season. For all complaints about Benda being uncomfortable on the ball he far out weighs that with his ability to save attempts at goal

Patches Over the past years we've made some bad buys but Fisher is the worst by far.Tabanack wasnt really damaging ;Fisher is and will be. It is criminal the way Hamer is being treated. Quite why our forum fans seem not to want to call this out bothers me. They are actually more supportive of a clown of a coach,a charlatan that will dump us as soon as he can.To suggest he is going nowhere is nuts. It is all about when. Hamer should be knocking on Martin's door;better still knocking it down and pinning the wrongly parted one to the desk for an expalantion. Why should we simply ship goals because Martin simply thinks playing it out from the back is the way,the truth and the life. Not for us it aint. Benda is lucky to be away from all this.

I'm obviously a bit old fashioned about it because, while it's nice to have a keeper who's good with his feet, I really want him to be a good keeper first. As long as he can catch, save and clear safely with his feet, being a good passer comes last by a long way. Problem is, it's essential to how Martin wants to play. So if I were Hamer (or Benda) I wouldn't be happy

Im old fashioned too but I think the idea of a goalkeeper to is to save goals;the last line of defence. Any "playing out" can be done by defenders . This is no reason to deeply a player so lacking in basic job skills

I think it is time to give Fisher a rest and bring Hamer in. We need a commanding keeper first and foremost? No need of Perch's kicking the team when they are down though

Who's perch? Reply appropriately or not at all. Our team IS down and I feel for the players. I don't care for your attitude but there ya go. Our club is more important than you or me We are underachieving and expectations cleverly lowered and that is exclusively down to Martin. The fact you find that tough to take is by the by

Perch, Richie, UHL. Three different names. Same sad poster. You don't care for the team otherwise you would not take every opportunity to kick it. "I feel for the players" you said. What is Fisher then ? A non entity? Martin was not to blame for the shambles of a second half. Most don't care for your attitude but you have always been the same. Perhaps stay home on Saturday and criticise from a distance as you normally do ? You knock everything about Swansea as a city and a football club. "Our club" Don't make me laugh - you care more about Tranmere Rovers than Swans

My expectations aren't lowered though, the official line is still that Martin is the man to take us to the top and that is an expectation more than I have. I don't like the premier league, I want to enjoy the football regardless of division. If we go up and come straight back down I don't care but I would prefer us to stay in this division than get relegated and we look close to guaranteed safety. We are 20 points clear of trouble with either 1 or 2 games in hand over every team below us with 12 games left, Derby would have to win their last 10 games (and they have managed to win 11 out of 36) and we'd still only need 4 more wins , 2 wins and 5 draws or 3 and 2 to stay up. their form is very similar to ours though so I think we are comfortably safe.

I don't believe them Cat. It's a load of pony meant to keep us sweet . I want us at the top table as Im proud of my roots and want to see my home town club fronting up against the bigbolloxs club. I dont particularly "like" the Premier League but "premier" is what it is. Right now,we are betwixt and between and drifting. We have no plan,no transition ;that is Martin speak to keep him in a job . When he gets an offer he will be off and then striding on to the pitch applauding his new club fans just as he does ours.

He has to have a few favourites to bash last season was Woodman Grimes and Cooper. This it's Fisher Martin and Grimes again. Only time he posts is to criticise. Enjoyed the break after West Brom and Coventry and even when we win he snipes at every opportunity. Very odd.

Its odd that he is not alone. Its odder still you do not have the guts to express your disappointment as things stand/ Even more odd you believe Martin can take us forward . You seem to miss my expression of support and praise for the likes of young Cabango having to put up with Fisher, with Piroe being left to pick up scraps, with Joseph getting the Whittaker treatment. I could go on. Yu are very odd indeed,as is any fans happy with this. I stand by every word. I always do.. Where is your hero Woodie now?

He must feel bitter Whitey, really he should. He deserves better. He's not exactly a super keeper but teams should be picked on merit and current form. Ours is not.

If he wasn't leaving IMO he would be out on loan with Benda here fighting for top spot, as it will be next season.
| If you were Hamer on 14:20 - Mar 9 with 885 views | Badlands | IMO Although he kept us in the gave v Coventry Fisher ia poor goalkeeper at this level. Brought in for his distribution skills we can see that even that part of his game isn’t good. A more settled back three with Downes and/or Smith and Grimes knowing how and when to provide safe passes would have given Benda and Hamer an easier time when playing out from the back. Fishers medium to long passes are very poor so, for me, both Benda and Hamer have the upper hand if only slightly. But, Fisher has command of his area and is indecisive, I agree with others who consider Fisher third in our goalkeeping rankings. | |

Change the record man. That is as prosserish as is possible. I cant engage with you if that is the best you can do. You are insecure . Why.? Because is Swansea is without fault and some kind of nirvana ,yiu wouldn’t be bothered about anything at all critical Swansea wise. Mark my words . You are so irrelevant it is pitiful. Sadness is subjective . I pity you ,truly . Thanks for the memories

I don't have heroes but why can't you judge players managers on individual matches. As opposed to deciding you don't like someone and just writing them off completely. It makes you come across as narrow minded and spiteful. [Post edited 9 Mar 2022 16:56]

I would suspect the fact that he's narrow minded and spiteful makes him come across as narrow minded and spiteful. Not to mention hypocritical, thin skinned, and deeply stupid.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I was trying to be polite but yes by repeating the same stuff over and over irrespective of whether or not the individual concerned has had a good game is narrow minded and spiteful.
