The White House have had to walk back a statement he made about removing Putin from power. These are extremely dangerous words that can start wars and kill thousands of people.
These aren’t thought out, meaningful and considered words, he clearly has no idea what he’s saying. To me, it appears to be extremely dangerous to allow him to talk in public about matters regarding the war, it’s far too complex and sensitive to have someone like that talk on behalf of a superpower nation.
Macron felt he had to distance himself from Biden’s comments today, there appears to be a pretty large backlash and White House PR scrambled to diffuse the situation pretending he meant “he can’t continue exercising power over Ukraine”.
So ideologies, political allegiances and world views to one side - this is becoming a situation where congress may have to act and his own party may have to step in and make a decision, it cannot continue, right? It’s dangerous.

These things can have devastating consequences. They are threats of war.

I would like Putin to be smashed,prefably shot dead and mother Russia made to pay for allowing this maniac to slaughter men women and kids just out of revenge for losing the USSR. I’d tend to agree with you re going off script, it’s either that or his speech writers and the team who’ve briefed him have dropped a major clanger. Whilst there’s no doubt a lot of people would like to see the back of Putin and for the invasion to be over, his removal is an issue for the Russian people. Whatever Washington’s views, I think comments like this don’t help.
My view is the only way we are going to see a peaceful outcome is for compromises to be made. The Russian losses and Ukrainian losses are accumulating and while I suspect a lot of the powerful people in Russia will know exactly what’s going on, the Russian people are relatively ignorant about what’s going on. To prevent the situation deteriorating, Putin has to have a way out which will save face which means a compromise. He is FSB (KGB) through and through and they’ll have his back - for now.

How can somebody lead when they themselves require looking after?
If anyone has experience of a relative at this time of life you will know that this is the time when you start taking responsibility away from them (ideally without the older person in question even realising that you are doing so)...dishing out tasks among the family.
Of course, Biden is not actually responsible for anything at the heart of government...it is not possible. No, what they are doing is using him as a front, as a face. Conning the public...and it is a con, as they knew Biden's mental state way before the election. What we were seeing of course in those flashes from afar, glorified by this media was thousands of innocent people getting blown up.
Invasions of countries is something that should always be denounced and wars avoided at all costs. Biden shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a camera in such a sensitive climate and those that are displaying Ukrainian flags on various social media really need to ask themselves where was their support elsewhere, when it wasn’t the “trendy” thing to do.
