Yes about 10 of us waited. Forest were doing their lap or honour. I was right over by the Forest fans, leaning on the wall above the stairs. Were you in a black tee shirt and sunglasses next to a guy ( your brother ?) In a check shirt ?

Yep gave the thumbs up to me and my mate on second lap, as we were last ones left in that part of our fans ( next to the stewards. YJB Tatey. As for Cooper - didn't like him much as a manager when he was here, certainly no respect for him now.

Perhaps you and OHL should join the Forest supporters group and the current Cooper love in ? Cooper won nothing with us. Our last successful manager was Laudrup, winning the League Cup. Since then we have won nothing. So if Martin or the next incumbent or whoever wins us promotion, then I will consider it a success. The rest is just football. Also, please read up about Cooper, who was lining jobs up before the final ? To think some call Martinez ( a real winner and one of our greats ) Judus ?

Coopers allegiance is now to Forest as I said Tatey had a different history It doesn’t so for managers to show too much connection with a previous club I remember the issues arriving Fromm Toshack revealing a Liverpool top at the game which was Just after Shankllys death Oh by the way did Russ give you fist pumps and claps

I've been told that only two of our players came over to the away end, gave a half hearted clap and the rest just trudged off. All those fans made the trip to watch a dismal display and get ignored by most players and the manager. Maybe they were worried they'd get abuse? Which 2 players went over?

Is that it? What about him going behind the clubs back and pimping himself out to two PL teams before and after the play off final, no matter what went on previously that was disgraceful.

Was he not given permission by the club to speak to them after approaches? I don’t think it sounds accurate that he was going behind the clubs back and pimping himself out. This was said at the time to discredit him, but no proof was ever brought forward other than “I reckon he did”. Do you have any links to suggest this is the case that I would read?

Cooper leaving broke Vetchonian's heart, he's never got over it, from the moment Martin arrived, he's slagged him off. Every post he makes on here contains a dig at him, it really is pathetic and spoils some good threads

| Tatey and Cooper on 11:24 - May 1 with 799 views | Badlands | Embarrassing love in. Look back at the comments about Tate … they range from 'jobs for the boys' to waste of space. Cooper spent money we didn’t have (our recent accounts show that) and seemed to have insisted on more before walking two weeks before the season started. As per usual he he came out with moans and laid the blame elsewhere. Praise due for play offs. But, with squads that were good enough for automatic promotion he twice bottled. | |

Were the squad good enough though, to get promoted under Cooper? It didn't happen. Is the squad that much better this year in some areas yes but in some worse off than last year. Do we rely on journey men who have got some good points, we did that with Bennett and Hourihane last year, it didn't work. Use the academy players, it is what it is there for, Rodon, McBurnie and Conners have come and gone we must give them a chance. Hopefully we can a defender equivalent to Piroe, young and quality but we need to bring in at least 3 new defenders, regardless where from to complement existing players and finally supercede them.

Surely Vetch’s comments are in line with that is being seen? If we were in the top 6 you could make that point stick, I suppose. But considering we are 15th and been battered by an awful lot of teams, while going a whole season and not really be much better off than we were at the start… surely the critique of Martin and his style is justified? I’m all for calling out vendettas, such as the ones against Cooper for example. The bloke has had 3 seasons in the professional leagues and improved every single season. 1.52 PPG in season 1, 1.71 PPG in season 2 and 2.08 PPG in season 3 - truly remarkable. But critique that is clearly justified should be encouraged. Russell Martin has finished 19th, 14th and currently 15th… every single season he has relied on the excuse of “transition”. Every season. Surely people can see that this excuse of building and transition means he can never be critiqued without excuse. The time never comes where he says “right, judge us now”, this is by design.

actually it didn't and as I have repeatedly posted what drives me is the hypocrisy on here. last season Cooper was criticised and insulted remember Doc Winston s ponty goblin label despite for the second successive season getting us results and to the play offs with restrictions on players yet many on here criticised. this season I witnessed some uninspiring football and frequent losses or goalless draws to be told how much better things were bad how Martin was the new messiah. my opinion was against the flow then...Martin for ne is not a manager he played Cabango abd Rhys William's out of position he wrecked William's who the season before had played under Klopp and made many appearances in the PL and champions league yet Martin made him look like a parks pkayer

In my opinion you are spot on. The big problem now being, we probably won't hold onto Piroe and 2-3 others. Cooper is gone, well done to him for this season but we should stop lauding him, it doesn't help us now. If we're going to complain then complain about the now.

I'm sure that to balance the books some will leave but I'd like to get the age of the team down so we can look to the future, good to have experience as older players but would like to see our younger players given a chance to gain experience, if they are good enough they are old enough. Guehi had some learning to do when he came but put in the deep end he came good, shame he was a loan player, about time to give our youngsters a chance and not rely on loans. Cooper was never going to acknowledge the Swansea fans. Cooper is "mean" and egotistical. I remember when Swansea won at Leeds. Most managers praised Bielsa and Leeds. Cooper claimed he out thought Bielsa and said he was manager of Swansea and had nothing to say about Leeds. Bravo to him. He got the Swansea job on the myth of being a possession manage. He is not and never was. He says things like "we could not play like we wanted to play (possession football) because of conditions" (weather, wind, opposition, pitch condition referee) usually after a 1-0 away win. Swansea defenders are now soft and weak where last season they were strong. It is a deliberate process by Martin but undermined by the recurring curse of poor recruitment, Bidwell (strong) replaced by Manning (weak) Guehi (strong) replaced by Williams (weak) Bennett (strong) replaced by Burns (weak) Roberts (Strong) replaced by Ogbeta (not picked) Bidwell out Ogbeta in. Is this an improvement? Williams, Burns, Ogbeta, Ntcham are not looking great signings and Allen as been sacked. You can envisage the conversation. Winter "Russell why do you not pick centre backs letting Solanke, Moore, Mitriovic, Surridge Jaoa run rampant? Martin. "Ours are no good" Winter "Well why did you sign them?" Martin " I didn't chose them Mr Allen did" Winter "Rosemary petal can you send Mark to my office after lunch".
