Why doesn't Martin work with Joseph and get him up to speed on what he wants, you know actually COACH the player to be the player he wants, instead of getting shot then wasting money on another who may also not be what he wants. |
He will get nowhere near the cash the club spent on Whittaker and Joseph, I still think they are decent enough. But I suppose who it is he wants, he doesn’t seem to fancy either. | |

If the current rumours regards getting rid of salaries is key to paying less for the ones he wants to come in then they have no hope. I’m still trying to get my head round paying 400k for Fisher and the info continues he wants another keeper.

I watched Benda over the years and imo he's on par with Fisher if not better overall . so is he on his way out ? If it's true Martin wants another keeper then I have to suspect his judgement | |

I struggle to believe that any coach worth his salt couldn't coach them to something like he wants, they're not that far away surely.
Loads of coaches/managers do so, the likes of Mourinho doesn't do it preferring to buy players he deems suitable, Swansea City AFC cannot do that with the finances available, Martinez, Brendan, Potter etc would coach and encourage these players. . [Post edited 10 May 2022 20:56]
