Wow, just had ten minutes of News at Ten, and there is more gloom than covid.. Funny thing, all they are saying has been foretold for months, ever since the start of the war in the Ukraine.
As if they thought, none of what is going to happen, would happen, they just stirred the pot instead.. Disgusting the media are..
always interesting to look at several news outlets from around the globe to see how their reporting of news irems is distorted by their political stance. Some stories get totally ignored if they do not fit their agenda.
Pretty much stopped watching the tv news halfway through the covid lockdown. it was the same stuff every day and that was coma inducing, I haven't really gone back ever since.
Mind you, I did start watching QT again recently. Fiona Bruce is doing a decent job, in my opinion.
Conveying the latest thing to be scared of, bringing the consequences straight in to your living room every night.

A great example was the nightly reports from Calais every night on the BBC in 2016 as migrants tried to hide in lorries and vans to England every night.

They knew exactly what they were doing. And its worse now after the Tories have stacked the BBC top brass with fans of Johnson.

You could be living in the North of Ireland in the 70s and treated as a second class citizen, no job, no council house, not even getting your rubbish picked up, interned without trial and shot in the back by a British soldier.

Just to add, I will tell you what triggered that post. It was only then, that I had seen the media talking about the wider implications of war in Ukraine, such as starvation in Africa and other poorer countries, I read a report just after the war had started, of what was going to happen to the poorer countries if the war continued..
Yet the mainstream media pretend to act shocked, what four months later?
