of course in an ideal world we'd only sell the players we didn't want to keep and go hard for a promotion push, however a club the size of us can't afford to turn down silly money for any of our players which has been the case since we were first founded.
Turning down £20m for Piroe when we only bought him for £1m would be mental imo. Brentford lived off investing small and selling big for years before they eventually went up. Maupay, Benrahma etc all cam in small and left for big money which they reinvested to get stronger and stronger | |

As with Rodon, some fans' expectations are way north of the actual price clubs are willing to pay.
