It's a bit of an odd one got a car only 2 years old but got a fault it won't start on odd occasions but go back 5-10 minutes later it starts I've taken it to Vauxhall they put the diagnosis machine on it can't find any thing battery been tested that's fine.

It's only now and then it's happening but not good for a nearly new car

If it's only two years old it should still be under warranty. Take it back and demand a repair or a replacement. Down to the dealer to sort it out.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

There are no mechanics anymore , but there are technicians with nifty diagnostics fault code reader and if it doesn't display the fault code then they tend to become flummoxed. In my day I could strip and rebuild most engines and fault find but now most parts are unrepairable even if you could find the fault .Try replacing a simple side light bulb on most cars it now tends to be front wheel off then strip acres of plastic moulding to get to the dam thing

It sounds like "Vapour Lock" in the fuel line as it fixes itself.
Jim, is it mostly in hot weather?

Exactly this when my old man was alive he was a motor mechanic and you just had to describe the kind of noise, jutter, bang....etc and he could tell you what it was without even looking at the car send you to a autoshop get you to pick up the part give him an hour or so job done cost £10 and a couple of pints....God I miss my old man .

Now they just plug it in to a machine and if the machine says it fine then it's fine!! lately my mechanic has pulled my car apart changing this and that it's cost me £1000 and nothing has changed car going to mechanic number 2 now
