Lee is now forty five, but fifteen years ago today he left Swansea for pastures new. And after such a fantastic time in the city it was indeed a difficult decision. 0 Remembered, click above. I am a big fan but I do not agree with paying people to hang about all day. All Swansea staff have to be productive. Does he help out in training or fill in when staff are off sick for example?. I like to think he is pretty useful about the place not simply living the good life. [Post edited 2 Aug 2022 15:27]

Educate yourself, he does amazing work as ambassador for the Swans, one thing he doesn’t do is sit on football forums being negative about people he has no idea about though, I’m certain of that, Lee is a classy character not a cretin

I am trying to educate myself. That is why I asked the question what does he do all week and how much is he being paid.? For example charitable work has to be audited to demonstrate a net balance after deduction of fees and expenses. I presume he has a full time 9 to 5 job with time off for social activities. Does he do any technical stuff.? Working with young players? Scouting? Administration?

I have seen him at junior matches, not Swans related giving encouragement to players. I'm not sure if he is scouting, the clubs concerned certainly don't pay him and it does give the kids a lift.

Well if you were interested in doing so you would simply research him using the same tool you use to access these forums and speak ill of people you know nothing about He is the club ambassador, i suggest you look up what that role entails and might i add Lee goes above and beyond that job description

I do not speak ill of anyone but do target poor performing institutions that are more harm than good to the club. I have no ill will to Lee Trundle. I have no idea what the role of ambassador entails and it sounds like a part time role to me. Service provided could be paid on an event basis. I understand evening charitable and other events require a level of flexibility. I am interested if he is full time staff what other skills services he provides for the club. Working with the young strikers perhaps. I read somewhere that he had been working with Josh Thomas for example.

Pull yourself together man. Why on earth does anyone have to justify someone’s job to you ?

Everyone should justify their job to somebody but not to me. Trust members should be interested as their group are owners. They appear to prefer to be kept in the dark as they do not ask questions. From what i have looked into LT10 was first employed to be involved in coach the young lads in the academy in the pre teenage age group. I am not sure he still does this. He clearly has a role in the media with Swans TV as a pundit and featuring in videos. He is also involved in the newly reformed foundation as indicated by the enclosure. https://www.swanseacity.com/about-community-trust/swansaid Kindly for your information.

The Foundation is not newly reformed, its newly renamed and Trunds plays a vital role He is also chairman of the Former Players Association As for Trunds in his ambassador role, you couldn't get a better man for the job, he goes to any fate or charity event in our community, gives out the prizes, goes to the schools, gives talks to the kids, he loves nothing better than having a kick about in the yard and the kids love it too. He attends funerals on behalf of the club, I remember when an elderly gent was about to die, his last wish was to meet Trunds, not only did Trunds meet him, he asked the family if he could help carry the coffin when they laid him to rest. He is a role model and a great ambassador for Swansea City, long may it continue

You’re wasting your time with the likes of these people, he isn’t remotely interested in what Lee does for the club, he made that abundantly clear when he started insulting his role without even knowing what his role is, another one for the block list

I am very interested in what Lee does. Why are you criticising me for asking for information? I do not insult the role. I am a little concerned that Ambassador roles are traditionally a reward for past efforts rather than hard graft. Particularly in the Champions league clubs. A nice wedge for a bit of hospitality work and a free ticket. Rushy and Barnesy for example. I doubt Lee is this type of 'Ambassador' and is actually a conscientious grafter. I gave you the prompt to enlighten the forum but you preferred a bit of forum posturing. All I wanted was a confirmation that he has a real job with regular hours and a reasonable not excessive salary.
