It has turned this site for sure.
Less testy and far more pleasant a place.

Preston next trip for me. I’m suggesting RV in Moor Park sports and social club ,simply a traffic place to meet up. Bit away from the ground though but easy getaway..parking galore .

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

This board is usually pleasant after a win because a certain subtype of poster tends to keep a lower profile in that event.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Two winnable games. Need to take the game to them both.

Interestingly, Blackburn have won three on the bounce. Perhaps they're genuine contenders this year and caught us cold.

Was it two seasons ago they went goal mad, and then …
Didn’t.

So early mate, it’s still a huge week for Martin.

Glad you agree John.

All good comes to those that wait.

OHL is such the exemplar ultimate supporting Swan, despite his abusive detractors who to this day lurk and pounce.

Well done John for recognising and supporting the right, not the wrong on here.

Such a silly statement intended to be inflammatory.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out why it’s nicer on here when we win.

Option 1. (After a win)

Martin detractors: Well done to Martin and the team, hopefully he can now be more consistent.

Martin fanatics: I agree

Option 2. (After 10 winless games and another bad performance)

Martin detractors: This is awful, Martin is really letting us down with his tactics.

Martin fanatics: You are not a fan! His tactics are wonderful to behold! You don’t go to games! He needs time! I wouldn’t mind if we were relegated!

Martin detractors: *an absolute wealth of material to reply with*

You are so out of touch nowadays Winstone.

Take your lead form the way in which proper fans like OHL are leading the line, embracing change in a positive way. Unlike some of the feisty laggards.

Sir Johnalot is showing the way, showing the way a proper forum is properly moderated.

Quit with your sour grapes for getting it oh so wrong, for far too long.

Indeed Raynor and Dr W are often the ones to drag the forum down these days, even the gang have the good grace to realise they got it wrong.

These two tend to take their embarrassment out on others. Usually by hounding OHL or anyone else they connect with the opposite opinion.

As you say SirJohn has been all over it recently and I saw Raynor in particular has had efforts to goad binned by the moderation team before they fester. There has been some excellent dialogue between the mod team and the forum helpers to keep this a nicer place, we are all on the same page - long may it continue.

None at all, I'm wondering why you are threatening me with a ban.

I did ask you a couple of days ago for an explanation, which hasn't been forthcoming.

I didn’t threaten you with a ban, I said I believe you are heading for one. It’s an opinion not a threat.

Doesn’t matter if you have been banned before or not. It is your behaviour currently that is the issue, not in your past.

Recently you seem to have become a bit of a troll, intentionally goading other posters and looking for conflict. You have had posts which mods have had to look to delete and repeated behaviour leads to a ban.

It’s my opinion that you won’t be able to change that behaviour, hence why I think you aren’t too far away from a ban.

Hope that has cleared that up.

Not in the least, were Keith Loyal and John the mods who looked at my posts?

And please give an example of my goading,

Surely it's not me bringing up your posting on Annis's board.

If you don't explain, I'll pm Keith for his version

Oh dear. A not so clever lost cause it seems. Hiding behind his own misinterpretations: of himself and the stark reality on here.

How sad.

You will have to ask them who deleted your efforts to goad.

We can discuss me posting on Annis’ board if you are genuinely interested, of course. I was a wonderful poster there, no issues at all.

But you aren’t are you?

You simply could not respond to my point so made a ludicrous off topic post which you had no intention of discussing simply to try and detail a thread. This is why it was deleted.

Are you suggesting you are being targeted by the mod team and your post should not have been deleted?

Indeed.

The bloke cannot respond to intelligent and articulate posts. The second he finds himself out of his depth he throws out some silly line about something completely unrelated simply to try and drag the debate down to a level he is comfortable with.

It is being monitored and noted, hence why he is having his attempts now deleted.

In my opinion if he keeps it up, he will have a ban. The arguments he constantly starts with these off topic one liners he never intends on discussing is not a good look for the charity which many of us are working so hard to support.

"certain type of poster".Hmm,now who could that be? Usage of the singular to attract the worker bees from the Queen herself. Give it up for the love of all the Deities.

I'm hoping we win both games this week then we can really really unite .

Meanwhile,the Sky is crying.

By the way,one can log in or off anytime. There is no base line ,no clocking on although I got the impression a few years ago one of our fans really was expecting folk to clock in and report for fan duty.

Things like family/business and afternoon delights get in the way .

From the opening 3 games, we could very easily have 6 points, which would have people championing Martin and his tactics, predicting top two etc. We could just as easily have lost them all, which would or at least should, have had everyone calling for his head.

I’m a bit nervous about two home games in a row to be honest. There’s less onus on teams to attack us and it’s very easy to set up in compressed blocks, make themselves hard to play through and wait for us to make mistakes in dangerous areas, as has happened every game so far.
