I recently started using the cheap petrol app that does a search of petrol stations up to 20 miles. I’ve saved loads.
I found it on the money saving thread on here a couple of months ago.

I have a diesel and it'll be more than that but yeah Gorcale is very cheap and they keep it low to attact folk to the huge Garden Centre there.

On our trips back home the prices of fuel in mid Wales small garages were laughable.

I use the PetrolPrices app on my phone. It relies on other users updating the prices on a regular basis but the prices always seems to be updated every few days by users. Down where I live the cheapest garage is selling unleaded at £1.559 and diesel is £1.779. In terms of unleaded, Independents are currently 4pence per litre cheaper than the supermarkets, but they are the same for diesel. Defo pays to shop around. I was in Bristol yesterday and one of the Asda stores had unleaded at £1.639, a lot more than down here which surprised me. | | | |
