His trade is best seen out on the wing so the best comparison as to the better option for Swansea can only be when compared to Matt Sorinola. 0 Click above for the whole story …

| Time for Armstrong to flex his muscles at Swansea City ? on 11:43 - Oct 30 with 979 views | Badlands | Even in the few minutes he's had he looks exciting. He adds width and a degree of unpredictability that keeps defenders guessing; will he use his pace to tap and go, take on a defender, pass, cross? A travesty he has been so underused. | |

He's one hell of an exciting talent, and must feel as sick as a pig to be seen playing second fiddle to such a non-entity as Sorinola. A bit how Benda must have felt for a year or so.

We are away to a slowly improving team. ……………………….. Benda ……… Naughton …. *Darling ….. Cabango Stevens …………….. Fulton …………………Manning ……………. O. Cooper ………. Grimes ………………………. Obafeme ………….. Oko-Flex ……………………………… Piroe. * would prefer Cabango in the middle but it seems Darling doesn’t have the flexibility to play anywhere else.

Not really though. Dropping Sorinola for Oxo-Cube is the easiest of decisions I’d have thought.

| Time for Armstrong to flex his muscles at Swansea City ? on 09:28 - Oct 31 with 754 views | RichardO | Must be given a start. I can understand with the absence of Manning, Martin might be reluctant to use too many loanees and maybe he wants to develop Swansea's own players, Latibeaudie and Sorinola are progressing but still nowhere near being able to take a fullback on. He gave Congreve a start but should have been on the wing not in the middle, hope he get another chance soon. I would give Oko-Flex a start on Tuesday with Manning on the bench to ensure Manning's return to full match fitness, would also mean one of Sorinola and Latibeaudie would be benched. Is there a fitness issue with Woods who has been substituted a number times for the second half which at times seems strange as he seems quicker and stronger than Latibeaudie, he seems to now preferred player to make way for subs, he is young so is it all about protecting his development. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Good post. I was surprised to see Woods pulled on Saturday when I felt there were a few candidates who he could have taken off. With reference to OP I would like to see Oki given the chance to Flex his muscles

I did say between Latibeaudie and Sorinola you would have bench one and if you included two from Manning, Oko-Flex and Congreve in their place then both could be benched because their inclusion doesn't add a lot to the team in the positions they are played

Sorinola/Lati B are not wing backs. Both are defenders, granted, but it’s obvious that they are very limited in an attacking sense and lack pace. Oko Flex has pace, attacking intent and, very importantly, bags of confidence in his own ability. Defensively, I don’t know what he’s like, but Russell Martin is very pragmatic in team selection so I can’t see him starting with Oko Flex tomorrow, which is a pity.

I don't think he should start tomorrow, hopefully we will keep a tight ship and bring him on with 25 mins to go against a tiring pne defence.

Def agree with four at the back, gives us much more width and options.
| Time for Armstrong to flex his muscles at Swansea City ? on 21:31 - Oct 31 with 492 views | Dr_Winston | I would imagine that the likelihood of RM tearing up his preferred formation to include Oko-Flex is basically zero. Football can surprise us, but that would be a shock and a half. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

He may not change his starting system often but he has changed the system while defending a lead or chasing a game. Same as he use to keep at least a player up the field while defending corners which he rarely does these days. So change is unlikely but is a possibility.
