Proof please.
No doubt there’s a few rotten apples, but my experience of the police is overwhelmingly positive, most are good people who do a difficult job in very difficult circumstances. The problem we have is we don’t have enough police to target these criminals.
These gangs rule with rod of iron and they are utterly ruthless, people are scared of them and are reluctant to give the police information out of fear. To build up solid cases and get criminals in to Court, the police need intelligence, then they need to build up a case and secure evidence - this usually takes ages and police resources are finite. Next time you see an article about drug dealers being tried in Court, check out the case time lines, that will give you an indication of the scale of the work. | | | |

Saw a feature on TV the other day about the Albanians and the the way they recruited their foot soldier assassins in one of South American countries (possibly Equador) - it was very concerning. The kids they spoke to would kill their own grannies. Once they start trafficking these kids in to the country there’ll be huge issues.
Telegraph reporting a relative had links to Columbia Drug cartel. It’s scary to think this has happened in the middle of London on a busy Saturday afternoon.
