TBH I'd be planning for Joe to play cameo appearances for the rest of the season and discuss early termination of his contract. For whatever reason he has not been effective when he has played and injuries are increasing.
In the meantime I'd play Ntcham in the centre of midfield.
Paterson hasn’t had a decent game since his strop so, unless there is an injury crisis I'd be keeping him away from the squad. or has Martin been told he has to bring him back, again.
One thing I am sure of is that if Martin plays Manning and Latibeaudiere as wing backs with three across the back we get battered. |  |

I got hammered for suggesting Joe s acquisition was a sentimental mistake,not unlike Bony.
Joe ,as we knew and loved him,has gone.
When you get older,you get more injuries in sport and it’s harder to recover .

Ntcham has never been fit enough to take on that role. One full 90 all season says it all. | | | |

Even in cameo roles he oozes class.
He will have a full summer to recover.
Plus hopefully long term will become involved in the coaching side at some level.
