If he'd had the time Potter would probably have turned out to be a decent manager at Chelsea. Problem he had is that teams like that don't have time. Results are all that matter, and he probably isn't a good enough manager to do both. Few are.
Rodgers excelled at Leicester to begin with but they're really tightening the purse strings in response to FFP and he couldn't do well enough on a smaller budget. Maybe too loyal to players like Vardy. [Post edited 2 Apr 2023 21:51]
