Is a peaceful resolution even possible. Russia won’t accept anything but the whole of Ukraine as a vassal state. Ukraine would want crimea back as well as all the occupied lands. They are so far apart it’s not possible. |  |

In Playa Blanca now. Yesterday went to textile free side of Papagayo.
Old couple turn up . He then goes into the water,falls over . Gets up and I ignore him. Gets up again and falls flat of his face in the sand .Then their sunshade blows away into the water . By now, wifey is moist …but with laughter . She has to turn over .
I go into the water and physically pick him up. I’m not keen on touching naked old people ,apart from missus, but he looked forlorn so I did . He was French ,which was nice .
I then swam out to retrieve their sunshade ,found a rock for them to secure the shade .
And people call me xxxx

No i don't see. Neither system is natural, they are all politically based.
What happened in Russia, was when Russia wanted to open up it's industry for investment, it issued shares to the population - not sure this country has ever been that generous. The majority sold theirs quickly to buy a new Tv or washing machine or whatever they needed in the short term. The oligarchs played the long game and bought up these shares until they accumulated enough wealth.
I'm not saying there wasn't corruption or fraud on a large scale, and Putin being one of the biggest and best at it. Show me a country that doesn't have corruption at it's highest level, ppe contracts and testing for Covid could be an example of this. The green dwarf for example has been creaming off what he can from the investments into his country.
