| Intimate dialogue sessions on 23:16 - Nov 22 with 2008 views | Boundy | I was going to ask why exactly does a Club of our size need a chief of staff and head of strategy, but I don't think it would get past the censor | |

What about a live feed. Or we only going to know what they want us to know, particularly after screening questions that are acceptable to be asked.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Agreed. Will the 10 brass monkeys in the room have a the right to respond to the answers or will they need to be structured as well. Seems to be a box ticking exercise to me.

Every thing they do is a box ticking exercise in an effort to appease the fans, they think the majority of us are thick and think they can get away with patronising us fans. Problem we got is that this lot are not Petty, so any attempt to change them is gonna be virtually improbable. [Post edited 23 Nov 2023 11:25]

These guys are not blokes picked up from the street. They are serious experienced operators. Gude has to epalian why he is here. What will he add. Julian Winter had no assistant. He has to tall the fans what exactly he is bring to the party, If he talks in management consultant jargon that has to be flushed out. When I think of management consultancy involvement the word that comes to my mind is the R word. My mate who is a management consultant told me he did the jobs that other people did not want to do. The R word? Redundancies. One question to cut to the quick is. Are you here to lay people off and cut the roster.? $500k salary is only 8 well paid staff. Lay of 10 and he is quid in so to speak. Sorry about that. [Post edited 23 Nov 2023 15:34]

They are trying to impose their American business will on a British football club. One which neither have experience of running. We are beginning to see problems and tick box methodology as an answer. Ridiculous.

Your post follows the same sad path. The owners own Swansea city and have my support. The Welsh owners owned by the fans are pretty much useless. They are only as good as the members and the members are free wheeling and largely disinterested. They hand over £10 and their job is done. It is like pouring water into a leaking bucket. Swansea Trust is the equivalent of Bayern Munich owners and they are chalk and cheese. We Welsh lecture the US people but our own body is 'pants' and always has been. It is run like a Women's institute. "how do you offset the effects of inflation at 7%?" (long silence) Debate drifted into class narratives because that was the easy option. Any one who objected was labelled a 'lapdog for the owners'. It is a Welsh way of thinking and well out of line with Gude. The fans were made owners but did not know what to do when given responsibility. As a group they choked when they could have grossed millions and hid behind a legal case "we were cheated" myth. That lasted the 6 years the law allowed then crumbled and the new board are labelled sellouts and poodles. Gude works on organisational culture. Some of the older staff might be "looking for new opportunities". I doubt very much they fit in the cultural template. There are some good young people out there ready for the challenge. The Site owners reports "some of the staff do not see the positive vibes the owners are sending out without justification". Been there done that. New culture means new staff.

| Intimate dialogue sessions on 15:40 - Nov 23 by ReslovenSwan1 | He is upset that the Trust did not act to give £11,000,000 of the club's money to English agencies. ( third parties) as the member voted for. Not sure why they voted for this and alternatively did not simply demand that the board sell their shares in 2016 instead. The members do not seem able to figure it out for themselves. The idea of giving 20% ownership to the fans has not worked. It works in Germany but not here. The Trust at that time acted like a trade union not an owner. It is a Welsh valleys thing. You may be onto something there. [Post edited 23 Nov 2023 15:42]

The points I want to make and questions I want to ask I wouldn't be allowed so it's pointless. To think otherwise is nieve in the extream. If this was not the case why vet the questions and ask for them in advance any only then will a decision be made as too whether they are acceptable.

Farcical innit, you only have to read their supporters Threads and posts to realise what the mentality is, its sad that three people who were actually born in Swansea have created this mentality, they should have known better as to the psyche of the born and bred Swansea fan's and should have known the shitstorm that would come from their decisions. These Yanks have no idea, they may own the majority shares at the club, but its "STILL" not their club. They haven't got any emotional embodiment in Swansea City Football Club and neither do their supporters, otherwise they wouldn't support them.

I certainly see the point in screening questions so a free-for-all doesn't break out. However, I'm going with the intention of pushing a few uncomfortable buttons their way if I get a chance.

Fingers crossed you get in. A person at Gude’s level should have the ability to answer off the cuff questions. It doesn’t fill me with confidence if he needs to screen questions prior to the event. Ticket office staff etc who earn as much in a year as Gude probably gets in a month have to think on their feet and answer sporadic questions day in day out.

He has recently arrived and learning on his feet. Some questions he cannot answer and the screening allows him to research and find out himself and give accurate and informative answers. "I would expect "how much are you getting paid? " would be blocked as if I asked you you would tell me it is none of my business. Winter had no assistant - why does Coleman need one ? What will be different? What extra work is being done?
