It bloody well should be but in this country I’m not really surprised. Disgusting.

A lot what you tend to read about nowadays tends to be 'farce, farce, farce'. It's relentless!

Yes, guy assaults people at work, police send the victims an email. A quick bit of research would have found the background to the killer. We have lazy unprofessional people all over this country. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/art

A US senator gave a speech in the senate the other day on how much he loves Britain and the people and deserve a lot better than the government we have been given. “Britain was built by geniuses but now it’s being run by idiots”. Hard to disagree with any of it.

The U.K is well and truly losing the plot! What would have been dismissed as being April Fools a few years back is now reality.

Load of nonsense? Replacing a guy who helped to free Europe from real Nazi's and helped to liberate concentration camps to then be replaced by a badger, or hedgehog. Is indeed perfectly acceptable in your own mind?

Absolutely. We regularly change the design on our bank notes, or coinage has all sorts of things on the back. I’m of the view this is just nonsense being pushed by GB News to have a pop at the government. There’s far more important things to criticise them on than this.

Personally. I'd say that replacing historical figures from the UK's past with images from the natural world is not just about stylistic variation. It is connected with other developments in the culture wars and a wider move to change the way British people regard their history. This seems more than a regular cycle of change in what we put on bank notes. It isn't just GB News that is commenting.
