Was vorm really that bad 19:15 - May 29 with 2937 views | dgt73 | After reading some posts on here today, you could forgive someone for thinking he's crap. I don't think so, done more that a decent job for Swansea. [Post edited 29 May 2014 19:19]

A very good keeper and some won't realise just how good he was/is until he's gone.

Without doubt. | |

Was vorm really that bad on 19:45 - May 29 with 1812 views | Flashberryjack | Certainly wasn't crap.....but certainly not as sharp this season as he was last season IMO. He is at a crossroads of his career, if he does move on, he doesn't want to go to a club where he will just be warming the bench and pick up his wages as his I career goes down the tubes, just like a former Dutch goalkeeper of ours did. Whatever he decides, sincerely wish him all the very best.

Was vorm really that bad on 19:45 - May 29 with 1811 views | Lohengrin | He's been excellent for us. His agility may have dipped a little after the injury, I'm not convinced he's 100% now, but he's certainly right up there in terms of the best keepers this club has ever had the good fortune to sign.

Like a vampire with crosses!! That was great, fair play.

Was vorm really that bad on 19:51 - May 29 with 1772 views | SwansNZ | He never has been one to command his area, but more than made up for it by his reflexes and shot saving ability, which were second to none. Sadly however, since his injury 18 months ago, his shot stopping has not been great, and he has let in a number of goals that, if he was honest, he should have saved.

Was vorm really that bad on 19:53 - May 29 with 1750 views | Chief | time for him to go. awesome in his 1st season, average in his 2nd season, poor in his 3rd season. if we can get some money for him, its great business.

Was vorm really that bad on 19:58 - May 29 with 1727 views | tomdickharry | On a scale of 1-10 Vorm possibly scored a 6 this season,in other words can do better. Good servant to our club if he does leave all the very best for the future.

Totally agree. He set his standards in the 1st season and has not really lived up to that level ever since. A great reflex shot stopper on his day (who could ever forget his tip over the bar from Johnston at Anfield 2011 - World Class in my book?) but several key lapses at critical times have shown him up this last season. There's no way Fabianski has come here to play 2nd fiddle so it's time to wish Vorm all the best, take the £5m and move on.

Rather than gaining us points, as he did in our first season, he has actually cost us points this season. 5

Absolutely. Thinking back to how he was in that first season where he saved us on a regular basis and comparing him to last season where he was below average (as in cost us more than he saved us), it's almost like comparing two completely different keepers

Glad to see sanity has prevailed in this thread. What with the OP's comments, the obsession over resigning former players (Gomez, Borini), people thinking we shouldn't expand the stadium, we really do live up to the Graveyard of Ambition tag sometimes.

I'll ask with bated breath but which keeper has (on top form), been better?

Going by what I witnessed in this FA Cup final Fabianski hardly looks adept at dealing with crosses either. If an arsenal defender hadn't headed off the line Hull would have scored 3 goals from set pieces in the first half - & all were Fabianski's fault. As many as Vorm was at fault for in the whole season?

What you witnessed in the FA cup final, was not I can recall seeing. Fabianski was at fault for both of those goals? Vorm has also been at fault for more than 2 goals, or at the very least, should have stopped quite a few

Not one person in this thread has called him crap. The other NeathJack summed it up: 'A shadow of the player he was prior to his injury at Man City 18 months ago.'
