Your suggestion is at least helpfull Paul. Unfortunately, I want to try and stop the kids and other family members calling mobile numbers (they have about a million free minutes on their own phones for this purpose) and it does bother me as it is basically throwing money down the drain every blinking month. | |

Add up the cost and then make a big play of deducting it from pocket money/treats?
Missus M kept phoning these 08 numbers for customer "service" or orders when we can get free landline numbers with one click. Just telling her that it was £50 we wouldn't be spending on holiday* and taping a 'no to 08' onto the phone actually solved that one; she now looks up a number instead.
*She also now buys herself something extra for £50 whenever we go on holiday....sigh |  |

There are home telephones and cordless phones you can buy that allow you to call bar telephone numbers.
Instead of putting the whole number in you can just bar 07 and that will do what you want |  |
