I remember a couple of famous Friday night games, chesterfield to go up and bristol city to stay up. The bristol city game was my first visit to the north bank. Atmosphere was very special.
When live matches were first shown on tv in the mid 80's, bbc had Friday night matches and itv Sunday afternoon. The Friday games always seemed to have the better atmosphere. |  |

Agree with that - I was a bit disappointed that Arsenal lost to West Ham, but until we’re a way into the season, we don’t really know how the “big boys” will play — Man Utd should finish well above us, and certainly Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal will - but Spurs/Liverpool? Who knows.
