Swansea's League Position. 10:42 - Oct 3 with 3008 viewsA_Fans_Dad

At the end of play today Swansea could be in 14th position and may even be in 15th if West Brom win.
That is a drop of 10 or 11 places in 5 weekends of football.
It just goes to show that at this time in the season league positions are extremely volatile.
Putting even more importance on the game tomorrow.

At least it's a thread about football which is increasingly rare on here these days.

I think we'll get a point tomorrow.

What is negative about the post, it is just showing how quickly positions can change at this point of the season, it could just as easily happen to West Ham, Crystal Palace and Leicester.

Citeh have equalised. I expect Newcastle will get a pasting now, but who knows?

How come Nathan Dyer isn't even on the bench for Leicester?

Rory Donnelly scores a great goal, and De Vries saves a pen (different matches obviously).

Monk out!

Oh, hang on, we only dropped to 12th, and could go back in the top 8 with a win tomorrow.

Monk in!

I agree but I don't think a win tomorrow is too important. We are having a dip in form whereas Spurs seem to be getting in to their stride. It is going to be a tough game.
One thing is certain though that there is a thin line between success and failure in this league. 4 or 5 wins can be the difference between a successful top half finish and relegation. Watford, Sunderland and even Southampton were more of a concern for me.

Eh, a win would be massively important for us at this point in time. Especially given the fine margins.

Like every season at this level 17th or above is a success.

It's the pats on the back, not the punches which knock you down. Pride comes before a fall etc.

Let's get back to realism.

Just smile.
