Why are our rivals doing so much better than us? on 22:00 - Nov 10 with 1911 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | More experienced managers. Better Summer signings. A better coaching setup behind the scenes. A team of players whose desire to win currently far exceeds ours. I can't imagine many players outside the top 6 clubs are picking up £4m a year. We've become a cosy hub to earn some easy money for already established players instead of a stepping stone for young, up and coming prospects.

exactly. Rivals? - all 19 teams are our rivals. You could ask why are we doing better than Chelsea, Newcastle, Sunderland or Villa

Why are our rivals doing so much better than us? on 10:41 - Nov 11 with 1711 views | icecoldjack | We have signed quite a few steady eddy type players, who will be solid and can operate at this level and are known in the league other teams have used a bit more imagination and looked abroad for those with bit of an x factor. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though . Many clubs sign these types of players and they fail, when they dont they tend to be something a bit special, the guy leicster looks hell f a player and west ham made some class signings too. We have made a few in the past like vorm, michu, chico,JDG,siggy (loan) amat . Most came in and did fantastic while not breaking the budget. Its a mine field as you never know what you will get . Once monk tweaks things a little bit we should be ok, better to have the crisis now than later, we time to work through it with a jan window to use if needed. [Post edited 11 Nov 2015 10:45]

Why are our rivals doing so much better than us? on 19:16 - Nov 11 with 1573 views | Rancid | You can add Palace to that list as well.Leicester will fade away but Southampton and West Ham will maintain their form I think and finish top 8.I don't think there's much difference in quality between us all it's just they are doing what we done last season and previously whereas we have become very predictable this season and sides now know how to play against us even when we're seeing the lions share of the ball still. They're sitting deeper and congesting any space we could threaten from.Montero has been well and truly worked out although it was always going to happen and not rocket science. When Montero doesn't work then we have nothing on the other wing to threaten with in Ayew and supply Gomis with crosses.Jonjo was our other creative threat but at the moment Gomis is on a different wavelength and those through balls we seen early season have disappeared because Gomis cannot time his runs and his first touch has deserted him. It could all still come good and by Christmas we could be heralding the team again but it's upto Garry now to get us going again.Whether he's capable of it remains to be seen.

Yes i do but they cost a fortune and often arnt as technical as alot of the foreign players who come at half the price. Look how england do every world cup. The media think they are world class bt they often get made to ordinary against class players. Vardy is riding a wave of confidence right now,and has probably been a bit under estimatednby prem league defenders second halfnof the season teams will have looked at him alot closer though. You get the odd exception like vardy and our own ash williams , good prospects like ben davies and joe allen but IMO you. Get far better value abroad and players that suit ( or at least used to) the swamsea way of playing. The best football played by us has always carried a few dutch and spaniards in the team, for me the swans has always been the perfect hybrid, a mix of british, dutch and spanish football all mixed in together, its why we used to be everyones second team and a joy to watch irrelevent of the result . Monk has developed a british attittude to our way of playing and thats why its all going a bit wrong IMO I will add that one ofnthe best technical footballers ive seen is leon britton, closely followed by routs. So we do have them diamonds out there !

Ironically, the answer would have been the same both times, Garry Monk.
