Maybe a nod in his direction that he was right ?

As did the ref, and well done to Cooper for his stand

The fact he contacted the powers that be BEFORE the game telling them what would happen would have gone a long way and also the small fact that it was a 100% legitimate goal.

Thing is it doesn’t matter what he did, what he said, or when he did it. He isn’t allowed to talk about the referee in a negative or even a positive way after a game.

The authorities nearly alwasy back the ref anyway. I'm surprised he hasn't been given a row at least. It could still happen.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

This may be delving into tinfoil hat conspiracy theory territory but I thought the ref in the Middlesbrough game gave them absolutely everything whilst ignoring fouls on us. Could it be that criticising one of his colleagues publicly is having a negative effect on other refs decisions?

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Granted it could be tinted specs on, but 50/50 decisions are going against us more often than not every week it seems.

Anyone remember the season with Sousa? He sent video analysis etc to the FA and they did nothing. It definitely has that feel about it.

Luton players kicked f*ck out Ayew today, ref did very little about it, Ayew tried going down at a couple of light nudges in the back (like other players do), and still nothing.
