Wear a mask, or you won't be allowed in the store.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Decent people will not have to be told to wear a mask 👍

Wear a face shield if you can’t wear a mask. Proven to be not the best but if you cough or sneeze the droplets won’t land on the products on the shelves etc. Better than nothing.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the supermarkets regarding this new stance,, I'll be honest with you, I hardly notice anyone without a mask on in a supermarket, and the one's who don't, normally are wearing the sunflower lanyard, to show they are exempt?

BTW I wear a mask every visit.

I think all this is just a pre-emptive move by the supermarkets, because judging by what the media are saying, they know they are about to be clamped down and rules more stringently enforced upon themselves.

No legislation to enforce the wearing of masks ? not one single govt document your doctor can sign To avoid wearing one ? No penalty for not distancing ? No penalty for failing to sanitise ?

Not surprised there’s an issue in Britain.

I remember when you were allowed back into shops after the first lockdown, all shops had someone on the door ensuring you sanitised your hands, trolley, baskets ect on entering. Not anymore.

I’ve not been in one for about a year, the closest I’ve been is the underground car park in M&S Mumbles but it seems everyone queuing to get in wears a mask and I thought it was compulsory for some time now, or maybe the locals just follow the guidelines better than those in the more deprived areas of Swansea.

Get virtually everything delivered these days, so much easier for Mrs PikeyPaul and gives her more time on her hobbie of cooking .

Hugh Phillips Gower butchers are outstanding and really stepped up to the mark in these troubled times, Choice is yours Mumbles for fruit and Veg again great delivery service from a small independent .local bakery also deliver, all other stuff delivered by the SM with most convenient delivery slot.

Also got Amazon prime which is a bargain at £7.99/month with all it’s content and free next day delivery on anything you may wish to buy.

So for most of us there is absolutely no reason to go to these places and mix with types that do and risk catching or spreading the virus.

It’s been the same here since it all started, our numbers are well down, other areas are down but still a problem, everyone I see wears a mask, even people who don’t have to. The biggest thing here is enforcement, the police are very civil and courteous but the minute you raise your voice threateningly or get in their face there is only one outcome. In this region it’s 200 euro for breaching guidelines, like not wearing a mask, causing a problem in shops, out of your prescribed area, then it’s 500 then I’m afraid it’s time to go to the pokey. I’ve said it before I know, but I never thought I would see Spain so compliant and helpful. And to repeat myself, the site of bodies being stockpiled in ice skating rinks sort of concentrates the mind.

The trouble in the UK like we all know is if the police try to enforce the law you get the Lefties screaming “police state” and other nonsense.
You only have to look how Dick and the MET under the orders of Khan turned a blind eye to 50000 lefties gathering in Trafalgar Square at the start of this pandemic, how many caught , passed it on, and died as a result of that?

I was raving about this issue months ago and got pelters .Jut why and who would challenge. I confronted an Aldi manager about it all. They say HQ had told them not to.

Result is the failure of us to kill this curse.

That's exactly what I said the lefties don't want the law enforced
The political left here encourage the dregs of society to riot and cause the chaos they desire, they just want them to do their dirty work.

Comparing 20th century Eastern European communism to 2021 social media controlled ,woke ,snowflakes is pretty pointless .

I don't think it is Paul.

Those espousing "socialist" politicies have no idea as to how they pan out in practice. They are anything but for the "working class" who ,under true socialism ,have ambition and drive stripped away whilst those "working" for the State are looked after in grand style.

Theres always an excuse
If you say to someone wear a mask, they'll say I don't have to as I'm exempt
If you say, get a family member to do the shopping, they'll say, I haven't got anyone
If you say, shop online, they'll say, I haven't got a computer
Out of the 1000's that use these excuses, perhaps a few may be genuine

My biggest bugbear is were there are arrows to follow and you always get one who doesn't think its there for them and you pass them 10 times because every isle you go up correctly, they are coming down, incorrectly.

People looking for reasons not to do something is British culture all over.
Selfish arses.
Think they are being clever.
It's one of those instances where a smack in the mouth ( before and after sanitising) wouldn't go amiss. I'm sure the majority would agree.

OK I've changed it.
